Atlantica Dreams Resort

My husband and I have just returned from a 7 night stay and we will definitely be back! We are lucky enough to have visited several 5 star hotels across the Canaries and Turkey and would rate this one the best without hesitation! The hotel itself is beautiful, the individual accommodation blocks make a lovely change from the several storey buildings and the grounds and communal areas are immaculate. We had a side sea view room (not swim up) in block B which we found to be the perfect location. The adults only pool area, breakfast option and Citrus Wine Bar provided the perfect areas for a more relaxed vibe and are a great feature of the hotel. We ate at 3 of the A La Cartes (Kuzina, Gaia and Caprice) which were all lovely however the buffet option was by no means a compromise with a great selection of food and, if seated outside, a lovely location to enjoy the atmosphere of the resort. We also appreciated the visible leadership by the management team who were mucking in and checking in with guests to ensure everyone was happy. Special mention must go to some staff who helped to make our week so enjoyable.. Fontini in Citrus and Manpreet on the sunbed drinks service both were so cheery and helpful, with Ylli and Vjolca in the buffet restaurant winning the award for being the royalty of hospitality.. both made us feel like friends immediately and spoiled us with the very best service all week. I hope this is recognised by the management team, they are a credit to Atlantica Dreams.
Now just to tackle the washing.. after we have booked a return trip!

Our room in Block 9 on the first floor was very quiet and had a view of the mountain, countryside and also a glimpse of the sea. It was spotlessly clean and we had clean towels every day and sheets changed every other day. The main restaurant was very good food wise with daily themes and lots of choices. The food was excellent. The 3 A La Carte restaurants were also excellent and the food second to none. We ate at the Greek restaurant. The Italian and American restaurants each twice in our 2 weeks and nothing to complain about on each occasion. Also, the noodle bar and Mexican food shack were very good. You had to get up early to get a decent speck around the Adults Only pool and again all the areas were spotlessly clean.

Though the hotel was Sensatori, it was also Tui Blu and we felt that the hotel was very children orientated. We felt that especially the A La Carte restaurants should really only allow children for the first hour 6.30-7.30pm. Also, we felt that the lighting at night on some of the paths could have been better. On returning from Liberty one evening, it was so dark and a sunlounger had been moved and I fell over it. Better lighting I would have seen the lounger and avoided it. Apart from this we had an amazing time and would recommend this hotel
