Fantastic stay!!
Really beautiful hotel & location. We were upgraded due to it being our 15 year wedding anniversary, our room had loads of space, stunning sea views and was right near the pool area.
Petros at the top pool bar was the most loveliest man, nothing was too much trouble for him, always smiling and knew what drinks we had at which time of the day!!
Food was varied and really nicely cooked.
Spa very relaxing, I enjoyed a 90 minute treatment.
We will certainly revisit this hotel.
Fabouloud hotel
Our 3rd visit to this hotel, this time we had a swim up room. Rooms: spacious. Has everything you need. Cleaned daily. Pool was a bit cold. Additional of the Nespresso machine was perfect for us coffee lovers. Food: good selection, always plenty of choice, always getting topped up.we enjoy the Two extra Al a carte restaurants. Pool snack bar always has a good choice and great Gyros. Drinks: lots of freshly made cocktails to choose from. Both Petros (pool bar) and George (main bar )made fab cocktails Staff: all very friendly and ready to greet you with a smile, from the reception staff and concierge, to bar staff and kitchen staff.
Already booked again for April 202.

A great holiday
We had a wonderful stay at the Kresten Royal Palace in Rhodes and would highly recommend it!
The entire hotel, including the bedrooms, were spotless throughout our stay. Our room was serviced daily, and complimentary bottled water was replenished every day. As soon as you walk into reception, you’re greeted by a beautiful scent that creates a relaxing first impression.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Petros at one of the pool bars, who was always cheerful & attentive and Katarina who was on breakfast service always with such a friendly smile every morning.
The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and fresh salads available at every meal. Also to note that it was premium spirits being served at the bar. The onsite shop was well stocked with everything we needed.
One of the highlights of our stay was the spa. We treated ourselves to a massage, body wrap, and facial package, and it was absolute bliss. The therapists were professional, and the whole experience was incredibly relaxing.
The hotel also has a lovely little secluded beach cove with tiny pebbles, which was perfect if you wanted that extra peace and quiet. Around the pool, the wooden sunbeds with thick padded cushions were really comfortable and always readily available (you don’t need to rush down at dawn to reserve them).
Getting into Rhodes Old Town was quick and easy, with taxis costing around €15 each way. You can pay by cash or card, making it very convenient.
Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. From the cleanliness and friendly staff to the delicious food, relaxing spa, and beautiful surroundings. We would happily return and highly recommend the Kresten Royal Palace to anyone visiting Rhodes!

The spa at the hotel
I went to the spa with and got a full body massage, and my kids to. It was a very good massage and the staff was very kind. I had a therapist called Lena, she was very good and i feelt like a new person after the massage!
Don’t Be Fooled by the Photos
We had an overall fine holiday, but this hotel unfortunately does not live up to the expectations created by its photos and marketing. It’s not a bad hotel, but don’t expect it to be what it advertises.
The biggest disappointment was the food. For example, the hotel’s app shows beautiful pictures of sushi at the Asian Corner restaurant. In reality, the menu was exactly the same every day during our entire stay: a very small buffet with rice, some noodles, two watery salads that didn’t look very appetizing, beef and chicken in sauce, and frozen spring rolls. It looked nothing like the photos.
The FOS restaurant was another disappointment. The menu was very limited, and the dining room was so cold because of the air conditioning that I actually had to go back to our room and get a jacket—even though it was over 35°C outside. My husband also became sick after eating the fish there.
Breakfast and the Main Restaurant were decent. It’s a standard buffet with enough variety, but nothing special.
The drinks at the pool bars were probably the biggest letdown. The soft drinks had almost no carbonation, and the cocktails made with local spirits were very poor. After trying a few, we ended up drinking only water and iced tea for the rest of the holiday because those were the only drinks we actually liked.
The rooms are okay clean and comfortable, and what you would expect from a standard hotel room in a 3 star hotel - NOT 5.
The pool areas are nice, but the water is surprisingly cold. It’s also worth mentioning that the hotel is full of young children and families. If you’re travelling with kids, that’s probably great, but couples looking for a quieter and more relaxing atmosphere should be aware of this.
The spa itself is nice and has a relaxing atmosphere, but unfortunately our experience with the staff was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we were met with an attitude that made us feel more like an inconvenience than welcomed guests.
We booked the Cretan Massage, but considering the price, we would not recommend it. The treatment was very average and didn’t feel worth the cost. We’ve had much better spa treatments elsewhere for significantly less money.
Overall, we still had a nice vacation, but mainly because we made the best of it. The hotel itself is okay, but it simply doesn’t match the image it presents online. If you book based on the photos and descriptions, you’ll likely be disappointed.
