Nice but not 5 star hotel
The hotel is approximately 1hr from the airport. It’s a large hotel and we went with our family. We had a nice room in the man part of the hotel with a sea view. Most staff were lovely but we did have a problem with our reservations for the restaurants. I had previously reserved a table and requested to sit with our family as this was a special holiday and my son and his wife had travelled from Vietnam’,my daughter and her husband had booked separately. But there seemed to be no record of the bookings and we found one particular member of staff passively aggressive, even though all of my family had requested the same details on the reservation. In the end it was fine as the restaurants had received the requests but it’s a shame about the miscommunication and the way it was handled. The main restaurant food was fine but repetitive . Definitely not 5 star. The bar staff were excellent and the cocktails are superb. Deserving a 5 star. The pools are nice but sunbeds are at a premium, even on the beach . Not enough shade in high/ mid season. Sea was lovely. However I would advise that it is not a 5 star hotel , more like a 4 star.
What a great holiday!
Just finished our stay at Mitsis Rodos Maris and we have had an amazing time. The food, staff and accommodation have all been fantastic. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! This has been our second Mitsis holiday. They’re an excellent company and a stay at any Mitsis hotel will not disappoint. Special mention to Socratis and Elizabeth on evening drinks, Sava lunch waitress, George evening waiter, Jason, Jonathan and Theo at the beach bar. See you next time! Steve H 854

Good food, great bar
Will start with staff that went above and beyond…
Despina (and team in the main bar). Great drinks and service, Despina introduced my girlfriend to a few cocktails when the bar was quiet and was genuinely enthusiastic about her craft, the drinks were great and tailored to individual tastes and replicated with remarkable memory on busier nights.
George is a bit of an enigma, he showed great intuition and ability to make people feel special in the hotel. This was noticeable with not just ourselves but also other families in the hotel.
Overall, the hotel was incredible, food was good, beach team worked hard to make sure the beach was clean / well catered for. The food at the beach also deserves a mention, noodles and pizza were particularly good. Rooms were an ok size and cleaned throughly daily. Maintane
One suggestion for changes would be to add sparkling wine / Prosecco to the menu in the ‘a La carte restaurants’

Beautiful hotel, Beautiful people, great beach and especially the food with the 5 alacart restaurants on top of the food hall. Everyone working here are so so friendly but I have to mention one person in particular our Beautiful Elizabeth who does so much for you in all aspects

Great hotel !
Great hotel for the holiday, but the trip was made a whole lot better by Alex and Eva and their animations and activities! Best performances, you can’t miss the fire show!
