Ellia Hotel

I stayed at this hotel a week ago with my teenage children, and we had a wonderful week. We absolutely love Greece and have visited many of its islands. We have stayed in many hotels and experienced different levels of service, so we felt we simply couldn’t leave without writing a review. :)

We really enjoyed our stay, and we think the hotel is very lucky to have such a wonderful employee as Tommy. He is not only caring and always in a great mood, but he also knows how to communicate with teenagers and, of course, how to keep guests entertained. He helped make our holiday truly special, and we may even return to this hotel next year.

The food was excellent, although perhaps there could be a few more fish dishes. The rooms were clean and well maintained.

On arrival at about 1am, we were told there was some food and fruit in our room - a cheese and ham sandwich, not very appetising, along with an apple,and a bottle of water. Our room was small, but clean. We liked that it was modern, and bright, but really it could do with more than 5 coat hangers, and 3 drawers. The safe was probably one of the smallest we have seen, by the time you had put your passports and 2 phones in there was not much room for anything else. There are lots of steps on the complex, so if you have mobility issues rethink booking this hotel. While we were there we saw 2 ladies with ankle injuries. Overall the food was pleasant and plentiful, good variety. The drinks on the other hand - that's a different matter...cheap local and not a lot of variety. One more thing, we didn't manage to get a sunbed at the main pool mainly because we didn't get up at silly O'clock to reserve a bed with our towels!! Although we did always get a sunbed at the WaterSplash park, the only complaint about this area is the fact that there is a resident DJ who plays "loud" club music all day long, really is there any need. Evening entertainment was not the best in our opinion. Overall the hotel is modern clean and staff are very pleasant, with a few teeks this could be a 4star, but currently we would rate it a 3star.

Stayed here for a week with my mum. The resort is modern, clean and new for 2026. The location is great and a 6 minute walk to the beach and water boat to Lindos. Local buses stop right outside too. The area is great for families and couples, the entertainment offers something a bit different to bingo and quizzes and abba tributes :) they had Afro beats dance and music, a magician and a fabulous dance show. There are daily sessions of yoga, aqua gym and water polo. The staff in the bar and restaurant are lovely and kind. In the entertainment team Mo, Tommy and the ladies go out of their way to make sure everyone is included and has a great time. No pressure to join the things that aren’t for you. There is a kids club. My mum in her 70s certainly didn’t have an issue with the background music by the pool! She really enjoyed it :) The food is lovely and nicely presented, always something to choose from, lots of options. We found the drinks including cocktails really nice. But we werent on holiday to drink non stop! We had the jacuzzi on the balcony which was lovely as we had one rainy day here. Defo worth the extra euros that day :)
