This charming hotel commands a remarkable position on the island, situated in the middle of a beautiful bay, 800 m from the picturesque St. Paul's bay and church, 1 km from the village of Lindos and 2 km from the resort of Pefkos. Diagoras Airport is some 50 km from the hotel, whose interior blends simple chic with classic Greek style. The hotel is built in bungalow style and offers 40 rooms, all with their own private balcony or veranda. The rooms are elegant and in keeping with the simple nature of the Greek islands, but fitted with all modern necessities. The swimming pool is surrounded by gardens, set against the red volcanic rock of the mountainside and has its own views of the spectacular bay of Psaltos. Guests can enjoy a drink at the poolside snack bar and relax with the sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use.

Great break with a difference
We really enjoyed the Lindos Sun, it’s a lovely hotel, the food is fabulous, with breakfast such a varied and excellent choice. The hotel staff were really nice with the exception of one of the reception staff who could be a little bit snippy and appear rude. Never mind everyone is different. The hotel manager is really nice, never panics and gets things done, well done we witnessed you in action twice and you dealt with issues very well. The rooms are very clean but basic. Not alot of storage space if your in a two week stay. Pool area and pool bar/resturaunt are great food is exceptional. They have an app that you use when you are there is perfect and it’s like having a butler, great idea. My only critique would be that this hotel could offer so much more the pool bar could open later and there is a captive market for the main bar with scope to keep customers in the place with more mainstream music and maybe even entertainment two or three nights a week. One further criticism is that it’s not favourable if you have mobility issues with being at the top Of a hill and steps and stairs all over the place. We will be back.

My sister & I are just coming to the end of a 10 night stay at Lindos Sun & it’s been wonderful. The hotel is spotless, the pool area & hotel grounds are lovely & the staff are all really friendly & attentive. There’s a great selection at breakfast, & we can highly recommend lunch at the pool bar. Make sure you book for a meal at the onsite restaurant too.

A beautiful location
This hotel is beautiful, the pool area is great and nice to have poolside service. Breakfast is the best we've ever had. Dimitre was always friendly behind the bar. Lindos town itself is well worth the visit and offers different roof top restaurants every night of the week. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
This is our second year visiting and we found it disappointing when we tried to get help from Michcaelangelo when getting bus information and booking a taxi. Rudeness and eye rolling wasn't appreciated. No staff were around for the bar service on Sunday (only day Dimitre doesn't work) and reception staff entering your bedroom randomly with their own key at 6pm to deliver receipts is far from OK - this is such a shame as we never expected this from a hotel so beautiful.

We absolutely loved it here!
This hotel has the most amazing staff who were so accommodating and genuinely kind, which made our stay so special. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist, although it was late at night his friendly demeanour was extremely welcoming so we knew It’d be special to stay here.
The food at breakfast was delicious with a large selection and staff offered teas and coffees and always made sure we were attended to. And it had a beautiful view of the sea outside. The bar in the evenings also had such a lovely atmosphere with the bartender Dimitrios who was so friendly. We visited almost every night after our meals in Lindos and Dimitrios would make us suprise drinks when we couldn’t decide what we wanted which made it even more special and memorable.
Gorgeous hotel too, we were in room 813 with a private pool and lovely sea view, which was beautiful and peaceful. Though the main pool never seemed too busy or noisy as we were next to it but didn’t even realise. We also always felt safe here.
It’s just a short walk into Lindos town around 20 minutes but the hotel would always offer a taxi service for us which made it easier to get there in the heat.
We honestly have no complaints, this was our first holiday together and we didn’t expect it to be this special. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a hotel within walking distance of Lindos and beautiful beaches like St Paul’s bay, whilst having a peaceful hotel with exceptional staff who go above and beyond. We are definitely hoping to come back in the future, as our stay was perfect.

Amazing Hotel, best ever
If you are looking to book this Hotel please do you will not be disappointed. We have just returned after a lovely 7 night stay. Hotel is very clean, staff very friendly and always available for help. Breakfast lots of choice fruits yogurt cooked breakfast and freshly made eggs pancakes and omelettes. Lunch food great, value for money, big portions, freshly made. We stayed in a pool room room 812. Amazing defiantly worth the extra money. Room cleaned daily. Bus stop out side only €2 each to Lindos or €10 in a taxi booked from hotel. Best Hotel by far. Thank you Lindos Sun xxxxx
