Golden Sun Resort is a new accomodation with twenty luxury rooms for adults only. Sixteen luxury rooms with private pool and four high floor rooms with private hot tub are available to make guest's stay unforgettable. The rooms can accommodate up to two adults. Rooms have Double bed, Mini bar with extra charge, Air Condition, hairdryer, iron, safe, satellite TV & 12 hours room service. Pool Bar Restaurant is open from early morning till night next to the Swimming Pool and the hot tub is also another place to relax. The Main restaurant is the place where everyone can enjoy Breakfast and Dinner with many choices from the ala carte menu. The Spa with an Indoor heated pool, Hammam and the Beauty treatments is the perfect place to feel refreshed. Golden Sun Resort & Spa has only 150m distance from the sandy beach,400m for Kalamaki center, 3km from the airport & 5km from Zante town

Restaurant doesn’t have outside seating
The disappointing thing about the family side of the hotel was that the restaurant didn’t have outside seating. The food and drinks were fine. We went to the Spa hotel one day but left because the music by the pool was so loud! Easy to get sun beds by the lovely pool. The aircraft didn’t bother us. Really close to the beach. We wouldn’t stay again because we couldn’t eat outside apart from the snack bar at lunchtime.

Enjoyed our stay
9 of us stayed all inclusive. Pro's Loved the fact it was a small hotel Lovely rooms cleaned daily Nice balcony. Bed comfortable, weird pillows though, quite hard! Bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and iron in the room. There is a safe but it us very small. Small fridge but OK to keep a few drinks cold. Wonderful staff, shout out to George and Alida from the evening bar Main restaurant - Great food, always hot, loads of choice Snack bar - limited choice, rolls, wraps, burgers, chips, hash browns, fruit pots and ice cream. The rolls were ready made and I wanted a plain cheese one so they made it fresh for me 👍 Really nice pool, good size, jacuzzi is a nice touch Could get pool towels for €10 refundable deposit and they looked thick and fluffy Top location, a few minutes to the beach where the sea was calm, shallow and warm. 10 minutes to the main strip Negatives; No animation team/entertainment team. It rained all day on Tuesday and all the hotel had was one pool table, one table tennis table and a few games. Really could have done with doing some quizes etc Entertainment only 2 nights, as we were a group of 9 this didn't matter to us Drinks you buy (after all inclusive finishes and/or branded) are ridiculously expensive All inclusive drinks not the best but OK Soft drinks cheap! And loads of wasps but the outside dispenser, need more wasps catchers We all had a great time and would return

Excellent stay again
Got back last week from our 5th visit to Golden Sun. Lovely welcome from reception. We didn’t get a top floor room as requested which was disappointing. Lots of staff changes but still had a great holiday. Rooms cleaned daily Pool a lot warmer this year (bonus🤣) and cleaned every night . All in all we love this hotel. Location perfect for beach and short walk to strip. We have booked for 3 weeks next year so hoping we get a top floor room!! Shout out to the lovely George(hope to see you next year🤔) and was nice to see emiliano from next door. Just one question though. Where’s the uk flag gone??

Golden Sun Resort & Spa - amazing return visit
It was lovely to be back at Golden Sun Resort and Spa for another year. Check in was easy and it was nice to be welcomed back by the staff. Once again the room with the private pool was fantastic. I want to say a huge thank you to the maids who did an excellent job of cleaning our room every day. It was lovely to see Kelly on the bar again, we enjoyed a drink from her every night before we headed out, she is one of the main reasons we returned again this year. Breakfast was different this year, the service was slower and seemed a little unorganised. However the staff were nice and it didn't impact the holiday too much. The main pool area was much busier this year and it seemed that guests from the hotel side were allowed to use the main pool. Given how much more expensive it is to stay on the spa side, i'm not sure I like that. Overall we had a great visit. See you again in 2027!
Lovely relaxing holiday
We stayed for 1st time at the hotel, not the spa , it gets confusing because most of the pictures on jet 2 app show the rooms in the spa side NOT in the hotel ! On the whole we enjoyed our stay, George at the restaurant was very helpful, food was mostly very good , roast dinner on a Sunday, personally I would have liked to have had more prawns, we only had them once in 14 nights😒 . Also plastic glasses in dining room ! You could get real glass in the inside bar but that’s all ! Alida & George were lovely bar people , we found all the staff friendly . During the second week of our stay they had a problem with the gas for the soft drinks, mainly affecting coke & Coke Zero, the problem was never resolved even by the time we left which we found frustrating & spoilt our usual evening drinks! The pool was lovely but the fountains we felt were left on too long , polly at the pool bar was always so happy & smiling😁. The room cleanliness was great except when they washed the floor which was every day they left it rather wet so it was slippery. Be prepared for lots of aircraft starting at 5.30 am & finishing around 10pm. We got used to it , didn’t bother us! Overall it was a great, lovely relaxing holiday. Would we go back? Probably
