Amazing food - lovely place
The place is overall lovely. The food is amazing in every single restaurant; special mention to the fine dining experience; it's SO worth it. Also, the wine tasting experience is great; the sommelier was very knowledgeable and nice. We have also loved the private beach; it's a sandy beach with an amazing sea. This is a place to relax, so although dinners are often accompanied by live music, don't expect late-night fun or anything like this. The thing that we didn't appreciate much was the prices of alcoholic drinks and soft drinks. 8,50 euros for a bottle of still water, between 21 and 25 euros per cocktail.... It's WAY too much. The service is overall very good. Also, very important, the place is clean and very well kept. The last comment is on the SPA. It's tiny. For one or two people at a time. But they have a big indoor pool and the massage was amazing.
Lovely hotel, some downsides
This is a luxurious hotel and the staff are amazingly efficient and friendly. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you will certainly find it here. Breakfasts are excellent. A couple of minus points. The evening meal options in the main Gaia restaurant are very nicely presented, but a bit restrictive. Drinks are pricey. The entertainment is nice, if a bit low key. We travelled in September and thought we'd treat ourselves to a private pool. It was freezing cold and really not usable. I don't think any of our neighbours used their private pools either. The sea was much warmer!
As Five Star Hotels Go, Lesante Blu is Near the Top of the List
This was our second visit to Lesante Blu, coming two years after our first. As previously, on this occasion the hotel lived up to it’s billing as ‘one of the leading hotels in the World’ Nothing is left to chance by the excellent management, and particularly the fine staff, in making the visitor the centre of their attention. From cleaners, waiting staff, to those on reception, everyone at the hotel works tirelessly to make their guests stay a memorable one. The five star treatment extends to the food served at one of the three high quality restaurants. Be that as part of the ‘half board’ five course themed taster menu served each evening, or the more à la carte menus served at the other two locations within the hotel. My one criticism from our last visit was the price of drinks throughout the hotel. The fact that we returned a second time would suggest that this wasn’t a deterrent. However, it is undoubtedly an issue, and was a matter of concern that we found amongst those other guests with whom we came into contact during our ten day stay. In less affluent times this might indeed reduce visitor levels. Make no mistake this is, as five star hotels go, near the top of the list and for that you expect top service with pricing to match. Should you be lucky enough to enjoy the former, don’t be too surprised by the latter!

Hard to fault
Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. If you’re looking for luxury and beautiful beach then this is the one for you !
Paradise
What a truly idyllic hotel. The setting is incredible, so beautiful. Everything about the hotel is perfect. The staff can’t do enough for you. I would particularly like to send my heart felt appreciation to Peggy Sue who was serving at breakfast every morning. Peggy’s infectious smile and positive attitude was so wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I can’t wait to go back next year x
