King Jason Zante

Had an amazing week at the King Jason Zante. From the staff at reception and all the way through to the attentive bar staff, waiters and waitresses this place wins hands down. To many people to mention but nothing is too much for anyone. The Manager should be exceptionally proud of his team. We stayed in an island Suite which was lovely. Enjoyed the wine tasting experience and even got a lovely picnic when we went for our boat trip. Well done to everyone at the King Jason… Oh and one mention of course George looked happy from the Omelette serving in the morning right through to his evening outfits and drinks..!

We had the pleasure of staying at the King Jason Zante in September 2026. On arrival we were greeted with a cold homemade lemonade, along with a cool flannel to refresh. This started the exceptional service where nothing was too much trouble, by people who genuinely cared about your stay.

There are 3 restaurants on site, bookable by the app seen across other Louis Group hotels. The main Waterside buffet restaurant was fine; food was always warm and quickly turned over. They would benefit from the closing top salvers like at King Jason Protaras, but this is a minor observation. The Pisco Peruvian restaurant did an a al carte menu at lunchtime; plentiful food and made fresh in an open kitchen, where I thoroughly enjoyed watching professional chefs go about their work quickly and skilfully. The Pisco Peruvian restaurant and Haroub Levante restaurant both offer an evening a la carte meal in the evening; book these on arrival as they go quick! Quality was great, fresh, hot, delicious. There was a good ‘All Inclusive’ wine list, along with a paid wine list; some pretty good wines on the AI list, we didn’t feel the need to splurge, but there were certainly some wines I looked hard at. They also have a wonderful wine cellar that you can go to and take a bottle of wine back to your room with you; never seen this before but a great touch.

Drinks at the poolside and Main bar are high quality, well made and consistent; a fine array of brands available and not short pours. If they’ve the ingredients, they’ll make you any drink requested. Drinks are served to you by some very hard working, but discrete colleagues. Furthermore, during the day, they will automatically bring you a bottle of water, chilled in an ice bucket, with two glasses; a simple touch but the first time we’ve seen it done like this; classy and helps to stay hydrated. You’ll also be offered a shot of smoothie in the afternoon, and a small bowl of sorbet in the evening; again, simple but classy.

Rooms are super-comfortable, well laid out, mostly with views overlooking Tsilivi to the beautiful sea. The grounds are spacious, well-tended and provide just enough separation from each area.

The pool areas tend to be at 1.4m depth with no real grading, have that in mind if you’re petite and not a swimmer! There are loads of sunbeds on the site, there is absolutely no need for ‘sunbed wars’.

They have some activities, but you need to book very quickly (on arrival) as they book out. However, one thing to consider, they do a wonderful lunch hamper that you can order the day before; and take it with you on an excursion or walk. We opted to walk 5mins and disappear into an olive grove and enjoyed lunch, feeling miles away from everywhere.

Overall, a high-quality, very chilled hotel and you absolutely get what you paid for. King Jason Zante is very much the jewel in Louis Group’s crown; pop it on your bucket list and you won’t regret it.

Just back from 10 days at this amazing resort. The location is not ideal, it’s perched on the top of a hill with a steep walk down (then up again on your return ) to the town below. The resort is built on the hillside and a number of steps and inclines might make it not ideal for everyone, but if you feel up to it, it won’t disappoint. They do have golf buggies if needed, but so far they haven’t added a courtesy bus to the town/beach below. (I think that’s coming for next year.) Beautiful manicured gardens and infinity pools to die for, it truly is a sight to behold. We had a garden room with sea view , lovely view and very quiet too, with a patio larger than some of the apartments I’ve stayed in previously! Staff are awesome, how do they keep up that happy persona all day, with such a can do attitude, nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent, good range on offer and a ‘cool area’ where salads and cold dishes can be had. Clever idea as the sliding doors keep flying beasts out of the area, Watch out for George, he’s a bit of an icon in the Louis Hotel world. Best omelette maker ever, bar none and has time to chat and make everyone welcome. You will hear him before you see him. In addition to the buffet restaurant, there are 2 speciality offerings, Peruvian and Lebanese, need to book both and they are worth the effort, no surcharges. Try the jungle salad, it’s amazing!
