Very disappointing
This was overall a bad experience. Firstly I had booked a room specifically with a pool view. I checked in and found my room looked out on an abandoned building. No pool. I went back to reception to explain and showed them my booking where I had paid extra for a pool view. They told me to return in the morning and speak to the manager as they would be in. The next day I was told the exact same thing with no manager appearing to be present. I never had the correct room and they refused to change it. They also referred to my booking by a completely different name (I am not sure they even knew which booking mine was). The lift to the rooms are tiny and can only fit a maximum of 4 people leaving crowds in the reception. They are also extremely slow! The room was dirty with something splashed up the wall. The room contained 4 single beds despite me staying as a couple. Bare essentials and in drastic need of updating! One night there was teenagers running up and down the corridor kicking the doors loudly and upsetting guests. Staff didn’t seem to care or have any pride in their hotel or the customer service. I definitely will not be staying there again!

Just finished a 7 night in this hotel and would highly recommend. It’s basic but spotless clean and food is decent. V nice staff and big pool area

My experience
Clean and well-maintained hotel! I initially faced a language barrier, the staff was extremely helpful throughout my stay. A special mention to Irfan for his fantastic support-he even assisted us in booking a taxi for our departure. The only area for improvement is pool safety, which could be better. Overall, a great experience

Topaz, Malta.
I stay at the Topaz 2/3 times a year as it’s close to several scuba diving schools. I’ve always found the hotel good value for the price they charge. The staff are always helpful and polite. The rooms are cleaned and replenished on a daily basis, my room at the moment is being looked after by Ariana Thebsheer. Thank you for all your doing Ariana.
