Grands Suites Hotel Residences and Spa

Fabulous location, very friendly staff and a great room with lots of space, kitchenette, dining area, settee smart tv( to cast from your phone), separate bedroom and bathroom with a balcony. The whole hotel was very clean, the views from the rooftop pool are amazing and reception staff very helpful. Don’t pay for trips… we visited Valletta by the gondola for 3 euro and the ferry to three cities for 5 euro return. A Bolt to Rabat and Mdina was 13 euro. On our last day we booked a massage at the Spa… Wow.. Karen and Nicole were our masseurs it was amazing value for a hotel spa and they were both excellent… a really lovely place to stay … thank you

Fabulous hotel couldn’t find any fault with it at all. Room was clean spacious well equipped with kitchen, sitting area, separate bathroom & bedroom with huge comfy bed, small balcony with table & chairs. Breakfast was fabulous sat on the roof with a beautiful view & so much choice of food hot, cold, continental, & constantly refreshed even at 10am when we thought breakfast ended. The pool & sunbathing area is also immaculately kept, yes the sun loungers are packed in but at least it’s easy to get one! Lots of parasols too for shade, it’s very hot up there. Pool bar had happy hour at 3pm 2for1 cocktails, very nice! We didn’t eat in the evening or use the spa so can’t comment on those, but as it’s just few minutes walk to the harbour front we ate out in a different restaurant every night. Highly recommend this hotel & would happily return.

This is a lovely hotel, the rooms are great but it was all let down by the terrible housekeeping. Beds not made every day, no items replenished and even bins left I emptied for days. The ground floor rooms facing the inner area are dark with no natural light and because smoking is allowed out on the balcony you cannot sit out if your neighbour is a smoker. The staff were ok but not really interested in any concerns.
