Great hotel, noisy if your room overlooks the front of the hotel.
This is a very good hotel, it offers very good food as well as having 2 restaurants on site. It has 3 pools, one indoor with jacuzzi, one situated in a lower garden area and one rooftop pool. Our room, a junior suite was spacious and spotlessly clean but we were based at the front of the hotel with the balcony overlooking the main street which was extremely noisy with constant traffic passing through and some stopping to load and unload visitors. On the plus side the local bus routes were located immediately outside the hotel and this was very convenient for travel to other parts of the island. Overall we did enjoy staying at the hotel, apart from the traffic noise we have no complaints, we received a great service from the hotel staff who were all very respectful and courteous.
Very impressed
We had such a lovely time at the Maritim Hotel. We were impressed from the start. The room was large and modern and well maintained. There was air con, which was needed and we had a balcony overlooking the street with a view of the nearby bay. We had breakfast included and the buffet had a large selection of food both hot and cold, savoury and sweet. We really enjoyed the cakes and the coconut fingers! Considering how many people showed up for breakfast each morning the hotel and our room was very quiet, we hardly heard any one else. My husband used the spa facilities nearly every day and really enjoyed it. The hotel also had 3 restaurants, we tried all of them and the food was excellent. Above all the facilities though was the service received by the staff, always smiling and very polite, from those cleaning the rooms to the reception staff and especially the breakfast staff. We want to say a big thank you to Anu for telling us where to go to get our bus passes and Jennifer for directing us where to go for the bus when the road was closed. We also want to shout out the young lady that put out the serviettes at the end of breakfast, you were such a joy to meet, I'm so sorry I didn't get your name. We would definitely come back.

Another fabulous holiday at Maritim Antonine Hotel
Just returned from another wonderful holiday at this hotel. We had a wonderful holiday last year and returned again this year for a 2 week stay. We were not disappointed and our holiday was even better. The rooms are lovely and the staff are all so friendly. Breakfast is superb and sets you up for the day. Our favourite part is the rooftop pool and Al Fresco bar and restaurant. The food there is superb and the staff really made our holiday. Many of them remembered us from last year and really made us welcome. We enjoyed going up there for a drink before going out in the evening and Dip and his team just made each evening special. Overall this is just a lovely hotel to stay at and hopefully we will be back next year. The hotel is very clean and tidy. Rooms are cleaned daily. The hotel is well situated for all the lovely restaurants in Mellieha and there is a bus stop right outside.

Lovely stay and comfortable room
We had a great stay at the Maratim hotel. Hotel has a warm and welcoming lobby area, with helpful and kind reception staff
Our room was a double bed with a balcony looking over the main road. Bed was comfortable and comes with an assortment of pillows for all sleep needs. Couple of small stains on the walls and floor, but only noticeable if you really were looking for it. Bathroom was spacious with good quality towels, shampoos and hand/body gels
Room was kept spotless by our housekeeper who was lovely to speak to and kept everything neat, and restocked. We were also provided an ironing board on request, which is also came with an iron and was kept in our room for the duration which was very convenient
Hotel comes with a great outdoor pool on the top floor with superb views, plenty of seating for those wanting to lounge or relax, and with a cocktail bar offering plenty of choice (highly recommend the Maltese Mule!)
Indoor pool is a bit smaller, but was quieter for the most part so better for those wanting a bit more seclusion
Hotel restaurant (Al Ponte) offers a good choice of food, and provides 10% discount for those staying at the hotel which is very convenient when you want an easier restaurant to go to. There is also a breakfast restaurant (Jardin) which offers plenty of choice for those wanting a full English style or continental breakfast. Food is good enough without being spectacular, which is all we really wanted

Great stay
Lovely hotel. Staff so friendly and hotel has great facilities including a spa. Had 2 fabulous treatments with Precious in the spa. A comfortable, clean hotel in great location and with good public transport just outside. Beds sooooo comfortable that you have a great sleep
