The Pergola Club will soon feel like your holiday home away from home. Rooms are comfortably appointed and very tastefully furnished. They create that very homey environment that you'll really be able to relax in.
Rooms are air conditioned and feature a balcony or terrace. From here, you can savour the wonderful views while you relax with a drink. Additional facilities include an en suite bathroom, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a room safe.
The Pergola Club boasts some wonderful amenities for all visitors to enjoy. There are two outdoor pools, as well as an indoor pool and children's pool. Being so close to the sandy beach you can enjoy swimming in the sea as well.
If you find yourself working up a hearty appetite, you'll be glad to hear that the Pergola Club has a selection of restaurants and bars. It's nice to have the option to 'eat in' – especially when you've had a busy day out and about – and the Pergola Club menus offer flavours for all tastes.

We booked this as a night stay only, traveled 12 hours to be told, no food no drink and everything closed at 12am is poor.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was impeccable: the rooms were spotless, and the location was perfect, close to both the main tourist attractions and the beach, making it easy to enjoy everything Malta has to offer.
The restaurant also deserves special recognition. The food was excellent, varied, and beautifully prepared. As for the staff, whether in the restaurant, at reception, or throughout the hotel, they were absolutely outstanding—always smiling, attentive, professional, and ready to help.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the kindness and humanity of the entire team. During our stay in Malta, our child became seriously ill, and the staff supported us in every possible way. They responded immediately, helped us through a very difficult situation, and regularly checked in on us throughout our child's recovery.
Their compassion, care, and genuine concern deeply touched us. They became much more than hotel staff—they became like family. We will always be grateful for everything they did for us.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your professionalism, kindness, and exceptional humanity. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning with great pleasure.

Our family spent a few wonderful days in Mellieħa, and we were very happy with our stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, the rooms were comfortable. The reception staff — especially Danilyn and Udip — were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Because of this great experience, we will definitely book again for our next visit.

A quiet chilled holiday
We recently stayed at the Pergola Hotel & Spa on a half-board basis to celebrate my 40th birthday. Overall, we had a lovely relaxing holiday, and I have really enjoyed celebrating such a special birthday in Malta. The staff were one of the highlights of our stay, everyone was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, but the reception staff deserve a special mention—especially Asmita, who was always so lovely, friendly and approachable and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is located in a quieter part of Mellieħa, which may suit guests looking for a more peaceful stay. However, it is situated on a hill and is a little away from the main resort area, so this may be worth considering for anyone with mobility difficulties or who prefers to be closer to the busier areas, restaurants and attractions. Both pools were clean and well maintained. We particularly enjoyed the infinity pool, and the pool bar was a lovely place to relax and have a drink. The Cave Bar was also nice, but it isn’t very big and seemed to be mainly set up for dining. On a few evenings when we wanted to sit and have a drink, there wasn’t really anywhere suitable to sit, so we ended up sitting on the sun loungers instead. It would be nice if there were a little more seating available for guests who simply wanted to enjoy an evening drink. The breakfast was probably the best part of the half-board food, with a good selection available. However, we found the evening meal a little limited, particularly when it came to familiar or simple options. There wasn’t a great variety of things such as chips or pizza, which would have been nice to have alongside the other dishes. We also noticed the occasional fly flying around and landing on the food, which unfortunately put us off. Our room felt quite small for three adults with not much wardrobe space for us to unpack. Despite these points, we have had a lovely holiday and I have really enjoyed celebrating my 40th birthday on the island.
