The restaurants available at db Seabank Resort + Spa deliver a very impressive dining scene, perfect for both couples and families. Coral is the main buffet restaurant, offering Mediterranean delights such as soups, pasta and antipasti while El Rodizio serves Brazilian meats carved at your table, with spices, native ingredients arriving until you say stop. L' Orjent offers a taste of East Asia or head over to Levant Restaurant for a Middle Eastern buffet. The Laguna Pool Bar is a perfect spot for grilled buffet food and snacks by the pool; during the summer season, it is open for dinner serving a Mediterranean BBQ grill. Salia restaurant offers a choice of A' La Carte menus or sharing menus of Italian cuisine, with breath-taking sea views. The resort is home to five outdoor swimming pools, including Malta's largest outdoor pool, which includes both a children's pool and an adults-only pool with a swim-up bar. Outdoor swimming pools are open all year round, but may have a period of closure due to maintenence. A varied entertainment programme for adults and a children's club are offered throughout the year. The club offers daily activities for children ages 4 to 11.

Great Food and Entertainment, but the Hotel Needs Refurbishment
Overall, the hotel feels like an ageing property that is relying on its past reputation and would benefit from significant refurbishment.
Positives
The entertainment/animation team were excellent, friendly, and engaging throughout the stay. Food at Coral Restaurant was very good, particularly on Sundays when the popular Sunday lunch attracts many local visitors. The Chinese restaurant was also of a good standard. The drinks selection was decent with a reasonable variety available. There was plenty of availability of sun loungers around the pool.
Areas for Improvement
Staff engagement was inconsistent. While some members of staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, others appeared disengaged and occasionally came across as rude. The corridors had a noticeable unpleasant smell, possibly coming from the carpets, which likely need replacing. The rooms showed signs of age, including mould around the air conditioning units, marks on the walls, and some poor-quality redecorating touch-ups. However, the housekeeping team did an excellent job keeping the rooms clean. The air conditioning was noticeably noisy compared with other hotels I have stayed in. Road noise was a significant issue, as the patio doors provided very little sound insulation. Although there were plenty of pool loungers available, many of them were worn and in need of replacement.
Summary
The hotel still has some strong points, particularly its food offering, entertainment team, housekeeping standards, and pool availability. However, the property is showing its age and would benefit from investment in refurbishment, improved sound insulation, and more consistent customer service standards.
db Seabank Resort & Spa - value for the money
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, well maintained, and offered everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff, especially Shahadat, were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay.
The location was excellent and made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, resulting in a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, but what made our visit truly special was the kindness and effort of Jonathan, the Meal Supervisor. We were celebrating our son’s 8th birthday, and Jonathan went above and beyond to help us organise a surprise for him. He genuinely wanted to make our son’s day special, and he absolutely succeeded! The surprise was beautifully organised, and seeing our son so happy and excited made the whole experience unforgettable. It is people like Jonathan who make a hotel stay more than just a holiday. His kindness, attention to detail and genuine care really stood out to us, and we are extremely grateful. Thank you, Jonathan, for helping to make our son’s 8th birthday so memorable. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel! ⭐️❤️
A totally lovely time...!
A well arranged hotel with plenty of facilities, lovely pool, plenty of room, beach opposite, lovely staff who could not do too much for you....special shout out to Fedwa who kept our lovely room spotless, thank you. The hotel is well located and day trips out using the buses rather than arranged trips are soooo easy to navigate. If you end up tired and want to get back earlier then use Bolt cabs, they have an app the same as Uber and are excellent and well priced. Food at the hotel is excellent as is the food in the themed restaurants. Thank you DB Sandbanks for a great time.
