Once a suburb of Valletta, Sliema has developed into a bustling and fashionable resort with many hotels and restaurants, smart shops and places of entertainment.
The waterfront along Sliema Creek is known as The Strand and is a popular area with tourists. Tower Road, which bisects the Sliema promontory from The Strand to the open sea, offers excellent shopping and then leads on to St Julian's Point. The resort offers good swimming opportunities along the flat rocky coast on the open sea side of Sliema.

Hotel Experience - Almost Perfect
Hotel was honestly very nice to stay in, the pillows were AMAZING! no complaints at all except for one member of staff.
A red haired older lady in the restaurant (working behind bar during morning buffet) was extremely rude, not only to customers but to other staff members which really put us off our food. We had asked her a question regarding the food being Halal and she very rudely answered and made us feel stupid for asking which is entirely unacceptable. She had a very bad energy to her and was rude to her members of staff in front of customers which is highly unprofessional.
A hotel I will not return to
I booked a Family Room for 3 people (an adult and 2 children). In fact, I received a room the size of a cheap hostel, just like a motel. They pushed 3 single beds into a very small room that looked like a warehouse/basement/dungeon. In no way the pictures on booking match what I received. It was impossible to move in the room because of the crowded beds, let alone when they came in with their suitcases. It seems that they converted the employee rooms into hotel rooms, which cannot even be called a hotel, but more like a cheap hostel. All the equipment looked like kiosk equipment, everything was plastic including the claustrophobic shower. We reached out to the reception, but because we landed late at night, there was no one to talk to when we arrived. I spent the next morning doing administrative work to change rooms. After they showed me 2 rooms that were exactly like the room I got, and I threatened to leave and get my money back, only then, in the 3rd room, I was shown to a normal room that matched a real hotel. Even compensation!!! I didn’t get for the miserable night I spent and the time I wasted the next morning. Very very disappointing !!

Great location, beautiful hotel, professional and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and meals.

Wouldn’t go back
Hotel was ok but room was terrible, for £450 for 3 nights the view was shocking. Breakfast was packed and nearly all the food was cold, the pool opposite was always too busy. Aircon wasn’t good and kept clicking every 5 mins, walls are paper thin so you could hear everyone around.
Terrible
Very bad experience. Paid a lot of money for a room and it did not even have a transparant window, when opened no view. The airco did not always work and the room was very outdated. Do not waste your money on the breakfast it was terrible. The staff working at the reception where also not friendly and welcoming. Do not go here!
