Very good spot
Overall the hotel is in a good location,amenities are good,staff polite and efficient,rooms are excellent good size and well equipped and clean.I had two negative observations...room 11th floor sea view great,but it never gets the sun at all not morning,afternoon or sundown..bit of a shame that.Also breakfast is a classic diy affair, which is a shame, as I think for the price service at the table for drinks tea coffee etc at least could be provided,it would make the event more enjoyable.

Lovely Hotel right in the centre of everything..
Just back from a lovely week. The hotel itself is gorgeous and what you would expect from a 5* hotel. Prices are quite expensive especially for the local beer Cisk which is EUR8.00 for a pint when downtown it's EUR3.50-EUR4.00 Staff are excellent and are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is superb, plenty of choice options and a big shout out to the egg man who got to know how you liked your eggs cooked. We had a deluxe pool view room, plenty of space and storage. Little bug bear was that the mini bar wasn't stocked and hard to put bottles of water in it to keep them cold which was a little issue for us! One thing that nobody seemed to mention was that upon checking in we had to pay EUR50.00 each per night in case of damage, which amounted to over EUR500 which was put on to our card straight away and to be credited back on departure. Thought this was a bit odd taking the money straight away as never came across this before. Overall all its a lovely hotel right in the heart of St Julian's within walking distance of everything and we really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely place right on the water!
Lovely facility with superb views from rooms of Saint Julien’s Bay. Close to quite a few shops and restaurants. Rooms were generous, had lovely patios and nice bathroom facilities. Plenty of storage space. Clean. Lovely restaurant for a beautiful breakfast with many choices. Most enjoyable!

What you’d expect from the Marriott
Our initial room- the basic one (superior) was adequate but with terrible view out the back. Pay extra! We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a deluxe pool view on 12th Floor due to husbands status with marriot which was 100 times better. As usual with Marriott, the beds are very comfortable, rooms have everything you need and the staff were all very helpful and attentive. Basil at the pool bar always had a big smile on his face and the ladies at breakfast were lovely.
The M Lounge (executive lounge) was well stocked and evening snacks were substantial enough to skip dinner

Yes I’d stay again if I had to go to Malta….
This could have quickly gone two ways! First night was not great, hotel at full capacity due to cruise ships and conference. Woken at two in the morning with people shouting in the corridor. Hotel dealt with things quickly and we were moved rooms the next day. Roof top pool is excellent and shout out to the bar man for being super friendly and helpful
