ln the picturesque village of Olhos de Água (Albufeira), a traditional fishing village that perfectly combines calm and tradition with all the needed comfort and facilities, you will find the perfect place for an amazing carefree holiday on an All Inclusive basis. Explored until 2021 by another hotel group, it reopened in April 2022 under the 3HB Hotels brand – now as 3HB Guaraná! Surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve, it will be difficult to choose between a day at the beach, in one of the two outdoor pools or in the heated indoor pool. There is also a children's pool exclusively for the little ones of the family! A varied gastronomic offer with 3 different restaurants, pool bar, swim-up bar, lounge bar and snacks will delight everyone. But as All Inclusive also means lots of fun, services and activities, we also have to highlight the complete entertainment programme, SPA, gym, multipurpose court, kids club and playground, Disco-bar and free Wi-fi in the rooms and common areas.

Far too loud!!
Great hotel, nice room with good shower and comfortable bed. Food is very good, especially in the Oriental Restaurant. Evening entertainment is probably the worst we have experienced but it isn't very loud and you can escape to a quieter area. The main downside is the very loud music during the day. The Animation Team appear to be in competition with each other regarding who can shout the loudest. Very much geared towards the younger generation. Such a shame as we have spoken to so many people who won't return due to the noisy daytime entertainment with nowhere quieter to go to

Breakfast English Tea ..!
We arrived and luckily the room was available. The Hotel was very clean and room comfortable. If you like a morning cuppa on the balcony when you wake up - take your own travel kettle/tea/coffee, there is a little convivence store on the corner where you can buy milk . the milk at the hotel is long life. Can't think why there are not team making facilities in the room, the hotel is predominantly British, surely i'm not the only one that likes a morning cup of tea. As a couple, we found the pool area a bit claustrophobic, there are plenty of spare sunbeds, but they are so close together you cannot move them an inch, we found ourselves going out in the evening's to get a bit of space. The hotel is family orientated, we couldn't get a seat at the swim up bar as full of children, even outside of school holidays - adults do not get any private space. Great area with local bars, they are very welcoming, 10 minute walk to beach which is very rustic and refreshing. Defo go back to the area, but not this hotel
"Chips and rice, chips AND rice!"
At times it was like being in a episode of 'Benidorm', but set in the Algarve.
It was noisy, overflowing with kids (shouldn't they be a school?), and awful machine-made cocktails, even had the main pool closed one day due to someone being sick in it. Classy it's not.
But the rooms were clean, even if they were like something from the seventies, the staff were generally friendly, the palm trees everywhere looked lovely and the food was passable, sometimes even good.
Would we ever go back, absolutely not. But if you've got young kids it's probably perfect.

Fab-u-lus hotel
This hotel is amazing, i cannot fault it ,my friend and I have been here for 10 days ,the food is great plenty of choice plus 3 restaurants to choose from ,our bedroom was cleaned every day plus clean towels ,there are plenty of sunbeds around the 2 pools so no worries there ,the entertainment team are very good as are all the staff ,I would not hesitate to come here again ,the only down side is Faro airport the queues are horrendous they really need to sort it out A.S.A.P. ,we leave tomorrow so fingers crossed its a smooth departure.
Not Four Stars!
Where to start. Okay firstly it's the flies they are everywhere outside around the enclosed hotel pool areas, making it impossible to relax poolside! Next this is advertised as a family friendly hotel, well in all honesty that's all it is, if you smoke or don't like smoking and prefer to vape then there is one place you can do either crammed into one with 6 tables with chairs, that's it and nowhere else!. Next the buffet is mediocre at best and you have to queue to get in before giving your room number to one of the staff who step into your way demanding you answer before entering! There is a poolside buffet that offers burgers and chips ect but you will be told to leave if not wearing a t-shirt. Next there are plenty of sunbeds but just make sure you don't get a broken one as there are also plenty of these. Final thoughts as I sit here being pestered by flies, this is absolutely not a four star hotel it's a three! Hope I've covered most of the negatives but feel they are what can spoil a hard earned holiday!!
