Great relaxing holiday
Great two weeks spent in such a relaxed adults only hotel. Booked a standard twin room well impressed loads of room with a great walk in shower and bidet in the bathroom. Lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers. Have to give big shout to Manvir the main Barman at the pool bar what a lovely fellow and fantastic cocktails. The hotel is well situated about ten-fifteen minutes between Albufeira and Vilamaura in an Uber so only have a quiet night if you want one, am currently in second week of two week stay and have been to Spa twice already and will be going again before we leave , best massage yet. Definitely booking next year .

Still a gem of a hotel.
We’ve stayed at the Falesia Hotel in Albufeira on multiple occasions and had read some of the poorer recent reviews before this trip. Our experience, however, was positive.
There have clearly been changes (a change of management, I believe), and from what we saw they are for the better. The spa is excellent, and the indoor pool is first-class with a really pleasant ambience. Most of the staff were very friendly, with only a few exceptions. A special thanks to Celia on reception, she seems to be one of the few members of staff who has been retained, and she was brilliant as always.
A couple of negatives: on Friday evening we sat outside by the water feature and the area hadn’t been cleared up; used glasses and other debris from the night before were still there, and it stayed like that for around 24 hours. My only other real gripe was on our last morning. We had ordered breakfast packs for an early flight. My daughter has coeliac disease and cannot eat gluten; her bag was clearly marked “gluten free,” but when we opened it at the airport the contents were not gluten-free (one of the breakfast bars contained barley). That was disappointing and potentially serious.
Overall, though, the negatives are far outweighed by the positives. We’ll happily return.
Lovely relaxing stay
Lovely relaxing stay at this adults only hotel with my husband. Comfy beds and great breakfast. Delicious evening meals. No rush for sunbeds and plenty for everyone. Service was slow at the bars but this just fitted in with the relaxed vibe. There were a couple of new staff but we've all had a first day in a new job so happy to give them time. This hotel is perfect for a total reset. Would definitely visit again.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Falesia adult only hotel. We were a bit apprehensive after reading recent reviews, however they seem to mainly from people who return year after year and don’t like the new changes implemented.
The hotel itself was great! We had a junior suite room with bed and breakfast. I’d highly recommend the suite as the additional “living room” space was very helpful, and the little extras (fresh bottle of water every day, robe, slippers etc) were a nice touch.
The pool could do with being cleaned a couple of times during the day due to leaves from the nearby trees being swept in the pool by the wind. However the pool and grounds (gardens and zen area) are lovely.
The indoor pool and spa are also very nice. The gym is small but functional with the option to do some parts of your workout in the outdoor section out of the doors.
The breakfast had a large range of food, and the omelette bar is a good touch. There is plenty of seating, with the option to sit outside too when eating.
Our room was on the second floor and over looked the car park however we didn’t hear any noise throughout the day or night, so I wouldn’t worry about your location! These rooms had late afternoon/evening sun which make it nice to sit out on the balcony.
There is a nearby supermarket (3 min walk) and lots of restaurants to try. We didn’t have a bad meal at any of the local places.
There is a free shuttle to the beach (it’s about a mile walk if you go via the road or you can use the cut through in the next hotel for a short but steeper route). The only negative is there was no 2pm return on the shuttle which meant if you went down at 10am you had to either go back at 12pm or 4pm or walk.
The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. On checkout you can leave your luggage in reception, and if you have a late flight they have free courtesy rooms for you to shower and get changed if you wish. We found this very useful as we relaxed around the pool and then could freshen up before going to the airport.
I’d recommend doing one of the dolphin boat trips from albuferia harbour. We saw lots of dolphins and explored the cliffs.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks and overall it was lovely and relaxing. After reading a lot of reviews about the food on a night we went with open minds. I myself found the food not so good so I basically ate salads every night. My husband on the other hand tried most of the different foods on the themed nights and enjoyed them. There wasn't much choice in deserts but I don't eat dessert but my hubby enjoyed trying them. The other thing was you don't get a drink with your evening meal which I thought strange not even water which we had to buy at €2-50 for a small bottle plus gratuities. Yes if you want beer or wine then definitely pay but a small glass of water should be offered after all you have paid for your meal. The drinks in the bar are quite expensive. I ordered a Pina Calado Zero and it was €11 but €12 if you added the spirit I didn't have many after that. But I will say the staff were lovely and helpful and our room ( junior suite) was beautiful and always clean. We also tried the indoor pool which was gorgeous and warm and after we lay on the loungers to dry in the heat of the room. The outdoor pool and surrounding area is lovely. Loads of comfy seats beside the pool bar and the garden is outstanding. So much to see and the fish are always hungry. Breakfast was lovely and loads too chose . Our waiter was lovely and taught us the Portuguese language ( well some) but he was moved onto a different section 🥲. Overall we really enjoyed our stay .
