Grand Muthu Forte Do Vale

Enjoyed this hotel, it wasn't too busy and in a good location. Food was good overall. Few issues with cleanliness in our room which were rectified when raised. Music round pool was, at times, way too loud and ruined the peace. I would also ask that the hotel does not invite people using animals for photo opportunities to come in as it can be quite distressing for people who care about animal welfare. Nobody needs to have a snake draped around them or a parrot on their arm for entertainment purposes, animals deserve better.

Hotel was in a good location to the old town around 15 mins walk . Stayed in a one bed apartment with my 2 children ,the sofa bed was fairly comfortable and the apartment was spacious .The view from our room was awful it overlooked the car park and a dumping ground for broken furniture and glass . The gym was good but were unable to use it as we didn't have our trainers. The hotel itself was clean and reception staff were very helpful we were all inclusive and the meals were good , but we used a sister hotels facilities and they offered more selection on the desserts , we only had cakes or fruit for desserts. The pool area was great and always had sun beds. A coffee machine in reception would have been good like the other hotels offered . There was a sewage smell in our bathroom a few times but reception sent the cleaners to rectify it . Tv speaker had gone and there was a lack of English channels . Pool towels were 5€ per person to use for the week .The main thing we disliked was the quality of the drinks available in the all inclusive package they werent nice at all, the bar area also smelt of sewage and the entertainment was terrible but overall we had a great stay .
