3HB Falesia Garden

We had a fabulous week at Falesia Gardens. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment that had apparently just been renovated. It was spacious and clean. We were in Block 15 with nothing of a view, I had requested a sunny balcony and we did get the sun in the afternoon but the shadows from all the bars meant sunbathing wasn't really an option! It's only a small gripe though. The whole place is just beautiful, so well kept and there are always staff around hoovering the paths and tending to the plants! The apartment was cleaned every day, with fresh towels supplied as well. Pool towels are given to each guest which means you don't have to pack one so saves on the baggage! The pool area is lovely, plenty of sunbeds and different places to hang out. The option to order drinks/snacks/food served direct to your sunbed was inspired! (you just scan the QR code on the tag on your parasol) The steps down to the beach road were very handy, the beach is absolutely beautiful and the beach bar/restaurant there (El Golfino) is really lovely (and much appreciated at the end of a long beach walk!) Food at the hotel is very good. We were staying on a B&B basis, breakfast was really good with plenty of choice and of a good quality. We ate out in various restaurants each night but we had lunch at the hotel each day and the food and service was excellent, really well presented and a great menu with lots to choose from. We didn't have dinner there but I'd expect it to be as good as the lunches we had. The hotel is situated at the top of a slight hill. It's only a short walk down into the town, maybe 10 minutes max into the main 'square' at the beach and there are lots of restaurants around. Highlights for us was Manzo steakhouse, Indian Palace, Fratellis Italian and Calheiros (traditional Portuguese) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful and relaxing. We'd like to specially mention Marisa who served us lunch and drinks at the restaurant each day and Bruno in Guest Services, but really all the staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely intend to return and wouldn't even look at any other hotel, this was perfect for us.

We had a really enjoyable stay at this excellent hotel. The staff were excellent, polite and helpful throughout. On checking in as we travelled with friends we were checked in simultaneously and provided detailed information about the hotel and facilities. The rooms were very clean and well presented with everything we needed during our stay. Rooms were also quiet at night, ensuring a good nights sleep. One of our friends had his birthday during our stay, and was surprised with a birthday pancake at breakfast and a bottle of wine left in his room which was a really nice surprise.
