This property is 5 minutes walk from the beach. Terrace Club offers an outdoor pool and apartments with a well-equipped kitchen, just 350 m from Praia da Nossa Senhora da Rocha. The property features a coffee shop and a buffet restaurant. All apartments are sunny and have large windows, some overlooking the ocean. Each one has an open-plan kitchen with full-size fridge, 2-hob stove and a dining area.
The coastline nearby can be explored using the property's rental bikes or on foot. Guests can also relax with a book in the lush garden. During July and August, Terrace Club has a poolside bar and live music. Children have access to their own pool and a playground.have an outdoor pool, gardens and a playground for children to have a great time, buffet restaurant and a cafeteria.
The 24 hour reception is at Be Live Palmeiras Village, just next to the apartments.

Great apartment for family of teenagers
Apartments are spacious, perfect for our family of 5 (3 teenagers) as we had 2 bedrooms plus separate living room & kitchen. A proper bed for all of us.
No lift so be prepared to carry cases up to 3 flights of stairs if on a high floor. Rooms are noisy but kept clean by the friendly staff. We had 3 balconies- lots of space.
Food was excellent quality with good variety. The salad bar and hot foods kept well topped up. Lack of options for our vegetarian daughter but she didn’t seem to mind. The restaurant is open for meals and during snack times, it’s rarely closed so there’s always something on offer. Endless wine, beer, juice with meals.
Sweet Spot is a cafe/ restaurant on the corner of the apartments. Lovely venue, live music most nights and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. You can get all inclusive drinks from their bar until 11pm. There were many locals and other people using the bar, it’s not exclusive to Ukino Terrace but this added to its appeal. It was noisy at night so that could be an issue if you like an early night but we really enjoyed the music.
Pool was very busy during August and there is a queue for sun loungers at 9am. Pool is very deep at one end so the shallow end gets crowded but there’s also a small toddler pool. Unfortunately the sun disappears behind the apartments during the afternoon so if you want to sunbathe you need to plan your position!
Parking was plentiful and free in the surrounding areas. We hired a car from the local Eurocar office, a 5 minute walk away. A car came in handy for a day trip to other resorts & Zoomarine which we really enjoyed. If you don’t hire a car you can travel easily with Uber.
Beach nearby is lovely, access is a 10 minute walk, downhill on the way there and uphill back. Good toilets on the beach, 22 Euros for 2 sun beds and shade. You need cash if you want to buy a drink from the bar. There’s no shop nearby for snacks so come prepared.
Not much in the way of shops for souvenirs or snacks, our teenagers missed this as the location was a bit remote for them. An afternoon in Albefuira old town was a good chance to spend some money on the usual holiday tat! There are also some market stalls up the road which do sell some nice clothes and beach essentials like parasols, etc.
We enjoyed our 9 nights here, it’s good for a big family and a relaxed holiday. We booked through EasyJet holidays and found it cost effective and good value.
Family Holiday Ukino terrace algarve hotel Portugal 🇵🇹
Just returned from a weeks holiday here with family of 4. We stayed in block 7 ,room 741, 3rd floor no lift so stairs are a killer. View is great of sea & pool area, double balcony access from bedroom & livingroom. We where in a 1 bedroom apartment very spacious, plenty storage space, beds in bedroom are so comfortable, beds in livingroom area were awful, full kitchenette small hop, microwave, Kettle & toaster and all utensils needed if self catering,large fridge freezer. You can get a safe key for €2.50 per day. Tv with English channels. Air con in both rooms very good. Full hotel is extremely clean. Rooms cleaned every 2nd day. Good powerful shower. Cleaners work so hard. Pool area is fenced off so was abit weird to not have access from hotel. Pool area is very clean, gates open at 9am, plenty beds but plastic beds around pool are extremely uncomfortable, ones on grass area are better. You can hire a parasol from reception to use all week free of charge. Pool bar can be very slow service as only 1 staff member, 2 alcoholic drinks per person. The entertainment staff are fabulous, aqua gym twice a day, water polo & games but they dont bother you to much, there was a kids club but didn't need as our kids are older. We where all inclusive, food wasn't the best, not alot of choice but we managed to eat, but went out a few evenings. Husband & son missed there holiday pancakes for breakfast. The Sweet spot food is delicious & they have some evening entertainment on which was good. Recommend following the Facebook page for this hotel alot of great information and posts whats on in local bars ect Palmerias bar & grill was great for watching football, kareoke and live bands. The beaches are amazing around we booked boat trips & kayaking there. Download the Bolt app for taxis we went to Albufeira one evening and that was fun, our kids are older so they enjoyed that. We also went to Armacao de Pera town that was beautiful & highly recommend Pipa steak house right on sea front, delicious & amazing quality & so reasonably priced. There is a supermarket only 10-15min walk we got cab back. Also a wee shop maybe 5-10mins walk. There are some restaurants and bars within walking distance for change of scenery. Overall it was a great relaxing holiday.

Some good points and some bad points
Firstly, it must be noted that this is NOT The Ukino Palmeiras Resort....this is NEXT door and guests at Ukino Terrace have NO access to the facilities at Ukino Palmeiras.
We arrived at 11am...no access until check in at 3pm (not an issue), however, there was NO access to use the pool until we had checked in as you need a magnetic fob to access the pool gate. We were allowed to use The Sweet Spot (their onsite cafeteria) which you have to pay for (we went self catering - not sure if it is included in the All Inclusive deal).
The staff were friendly and welcoming in all areas of the hotel from reception to the animation teams and the cleaners.
The room.....as already said, we went self catering....HOWEVER....you get a 4 ring hob that you can only use 2 rings of at any one time otherwise you trip all the fuses.....there is NO oven but you do get an oven dish🤷...if going self catering you would hope to have an oven...but hey ho. You get a 2 slice toaster and an antiquated microwave. There is a fridge/freezer and also tea and coffee making facilities.
You do get a nice large balcony with table and chairs for outside dining should you so wish.
The sleeping arrangements....two single beds in the bedroom and two "sofabeds" in the living room. The mattresses were uncomfortable on all four but more so on the sofabeds....but you have to make do.
Air con was fantastic in the living room area but in the bedroom it continually cut out after about 10 minutes...we tried changing settings but couldn't work it out.....should have gone to the reception but just gave up on it in the end.
Plenty of storage but as is the norm for overseas hotels, a distinct lack of coat hangers....we had 8 for 4 people!
Front reception is closed from midnight to 8am with security taking over the reins during that time.
There is a beach 5 minutes walk away and a largish supermarket about 10 minutes walk away.....and there is a small selection of restaurants nearby.....the area is made up of purely residential blocks with the odd hotel here and there....it is NOT a night life resort (hotel is NOT in Armacao de Pera - that is 2km away)
Also worth keeping in mind is that this hotel has NO lifts...in any of its blocks of apartments.....so if you have mobility issues MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR GROUND FLOOR.
Our take aways from this holiday....
1....do NOT take an early flight as you can't get in until 3pm with no access to facilities.
2....going self catering does NOT work out any cheaper than All Inclusive in the long run.
3....Always do research on the area you are visiting so you are not disappointed.

ukino terrace
well what a gem you are ukino terrace excellent value for money amazingly spacious rooms spotlessly clean good food (was bed and breakfast) beautiful area of the algarve never been before cant wait to come back only small complaint was the lady at the pool on the bar needs to be nicer to customers didnt have very good people skills

Great holiday The place is spotlessly clean. Huge 2 bed apartment with 3 balconies with sea and pool views Basic kitchen but lots of utensils We managed to eat in a couple nights as a family of 5 Very Comfortable beds, no sofa bed which was what we were expecting so we are so pleased nobody had to sleep on that Nice pool area lots of sun loungers Great location, close to beach and shops a few bars & places to eat. Very chilled resort. Lovley beach with a nice beach bar Sweet spot was great for drinks and morning coffees. Staff were all lovley at the sweet spot Porches is a quiet resort with everything you need for a family holiday on your doorstep. Would definitely return Thank you
