Stunning hotel on the river
Lovely hotel situated on the river between. Portimão and Praia de Rocha. There’s a beautiful rooftop pool and chilled-out rooftop bar area with good food and even better cocktails. The staff are helpful and polite and the overall cleanliness is amazing. We’ve had an incredible time here and would happily return. Darren and Mandy, August 2026

Plus’ and minus’
We stayed at this hotel the last week, hotel spotless and cleanliness is exceptional! Staff are polite and friendly- special shoutout to the bar staff especially Roy, Rebecca and Kat (with a K lol)! The only downside to this hotel is that it’s on a very busy road - can hear traffic and very loud vehicles from your room with loud exhausts. THE POOL - was so lovely, unfortunately limited bed so would have to get up super early to go to breakfast and queue for a Sunbed otherwise there wouldn’t be one available. Also there is decking around the pool area but then underneath and around the sunbeds there was stone/ sand stone which was getting everywhere and was painful on your feet and unbearable! Due to this we wouldn’t return to this hotel!
Great hotel if you want a quiet and relaxed holiday
Lovely hotel, extremely clean and rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food is lovely and staff are very attentive. Location is good if you don't mind a little walking to either the praia de rocha beach front/strip or up to the quieter portimao.
Relaxing break
Hotel was lovely. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and nice touches with free coffee etc in reception and courtesy bus to the beach. Food good, rooftop bar and pool excellent. Spa great, pool, steam and sauna but you have to pay extra (€18 per person) for 90 mins and wear a bathing cap (provided). Disappointed in the river view which we had upgraded for but had to lean out of the balcony to see and the road outside is very busy, even at night. Book a courtyard room if you go as they're quieter.

Peace and quiet on the Algarve.
A very enjoyable and relaxing stay with excellent staff, food, drink, rooms and pool. The views are great of the river and area. As an adult only retreat it is ideal for those looking to relax and enjoy peace and quiet with friendly service and good tasty dishes. If you want a bit more nightlife, the beaches are a twenty minute walk away with pubs, clubs and shops in Praia da Rocha. I would recommend half board as the breakfast and dinner options are excellent with a full buffet in the morning and 3 good courses available at dinner or the option of pre ordering some specialities. Drinks prices are good and generous. Staff are excellent and extremely helpful and chatty.
