Pinhal da Marina Vilamoura

Our 5th year here. We are Self Catering. The location is perfect for a short walk to The Old Village & to The Marina. The Reception Staff are friendly & helpful. This year we were in a first floor Studio which is really good, although the furnishings are a little tired and need freshening. The cleaners aren’t as thorough as they used to be. The Restaurant is great. Friendly helpful staff and the food is excellent! One issue that many guests have commented on are how overgrown the gardens around the lower pool area are. When we first came the gardens were immaculate! The shrubs are so big they encroach on some guests patios and the lifebelt is almost invisible in the tangle of shrubs. Such a pity as it is a lovely place to stay and we will happily return. The above issues just need sorting to enhance the stay of their guests.

Great location out of the hustle and bustle of the marina. Ten mins walk to a spar and ten mins drive to the main supermarkets , golf courses and marina, A very laid back atmosphere. No fighting for sun beds. We even had two in our massive balcony! Fantastic value for money! I don’t understand the people who complain. Yes it’s dated but it is spotless and they charge accordingly. The cleaners are in everyday. They do a fantastic job! It was quiet and chilled! The restaurant/ snack bar was handy for those times when a trip in to town was too much! The staff were all absolutely lovely! The apartment had everything you can think of! Really well kitted out! Beds were a bit uncomfortable for me but my husband said his was great so that’s just a matter of what you prefer. Pillows great! Uber here is so cheap so if you struggle walking just uber or bolt! Thanks everyone for a great stay!
