Not a 5 Star Hotel
We stayed for 6 nights in a premium sea view Purobeach room. The entrance and welcome from the concierge suggested this was going to be the high quality stay we had hoped for. Unfortunately, that is not what we experienced for the rest of the stay. The hotel is tired and in dire need of refurbishment. The corridors are old looking, the rooms have dark mahogany fixtures and fittings which have seen far better days. Lots os scrapes and scratches. We were surprised to have a twin room when we had booked a double but couldn't be bothered to make a fuss after a long trip. The bedding we had on one night had a hole in it. How on earth does the maid think that is acceptable in a 3 star hotel, let alone one that markets itself as 5 stars? We were on the seventh floor. The balcony had two thin panes of glass, with no rail or connection to either side wall. Only a perished rubber seal at the base held them in and they wobbled alarmingly when you touched them. No idea how this is considered safe in 2026. The extra we paid for the puro beach reserved beds was not worth it. The generic piped music being played so loud you cant hear each other talk. The music is just repetitive fakes of dance tracks - not chill at all and no DJ was present, just a PA system on repeat. The only thing we can commend is the well stocked buffet breakfast with plenty of choice and the staff we very attentive. We would not go back and cant recommend. It is a 4 star hotel at most and thats being kind. Certainly not the standards we expected at nearly €600 bed and breakfast per night.

Lovely experience .....
Very spacious room, loved the chocs left by ' turn down' service. All staff members friendly and eager to help. I even had a ' surprise' left in my room on my birthday....very much appreciated. I couldn't fault our stay......we will be back

Superb Hotel
Excellent hotel from the initial staff on reception to staff throughout the hotel and restaurants and pool area all staff are friendly helpful and a credit to the hotel. This our fourth stay at this hotel and it always excels. Food in all the restaurants is excellent and a superb junior suite room with Marina views and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel, fabulous location- a few small issues
Lovely hotel and great service at reception from Morgana and Bernardo. We had a Premium room on the 7th floor. On arrival we had a problem with a recurring bill (from previous guests) showing on our account but it was resolved after 2 days. Breakfast is good, although long wait to order eggs every morning. The pool was pleasant but the steps into the pool are not easy to see and a rail would be super useful or paint the steps so that they are more visible. On the whole, a great stay and we will return.

The Tivoli Marina has been our go-to hotel for almost 20 years and recent upgrades have only added to our overall experience. We feel at home from the moment we arrive in what is a well run hotel in a great family location. Our one criticism is that following a major external re-modelling they have turned the main pool into a giant paddling pool so sadly not for serious swimmers.
