Fantastic Hotel
A fantastic hotel in a great position. Nice staff always willing to help. First time in an adults only hotel & we couldn't believe how quiet it was

Another fabulous stay at this hotel, 4th time I think.We were checked in by a lovely lady who's name I have totally forgotten but I remember her surname which was Texeira! She was charming and welcomed us back again. The next morning at 9 am we called at reception and I explained to the same young lady that I wasn't happy with the positioning of the room and requested a change,we had breakfast and while eating we were informed that we could change and by 10 15 am we were in our new room ! Breakfast was even better than we had remembered with so much choice ,the omelettes were delicious made by such a friendly young lady ! We had dinner once which was lovely! No sunbed wars plenty available all day.Staff are ALL superb from all departments ! Spotlessly clean everywhere ,gardens beautiful . The manager was so friendly and was always overseeing everything ,it also seemed he had a great rapport with all the staff who all seemed to love him. I remember on our previous stays usually during off peak months the clientele were in the above 50 bracket but this was our 1st summer visit and there were lots and lots of young couples and families which was great to see! Nothing to fault and thanks for another great in fact the best stay we have had and thanks for the bubbles in my birthday . We will be back soon!

Very relaxing, quiet location in Funchal
Booked with BA holidays - not disappointed. Great location for old town, cable car and port activities. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choice, evening themed meals or main menu - or just a short walk to many local restaurants. Happy Hour from 5 - 6pm every day. Different music every night. Adult only means mostly older adults, but if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is it. We took excursions in a Landrover, a Bolt taxi to local bays and catamaran trip where we saw dolphins and a whale.
Fantastic location for sight seeing
Friendly, best service, five star food, helpful staff. I had a milestone birthday and booked a long weekend stay. For my birthday the hotel upgraded my room to sea view. The location is fantastic for the old Fort, local restaurants and bars, cable car, tour buses and a stroll or run along the promenade
