perfect hotel
this is an amazing hotel, it is a hidden gem in Funchal. Everyone who goes to Funchal go "up the hill" to all the 5 star ones, this one nestles in the old town within reach of the centre of town, flower market, and lots of restaurants. although only 4 star it provides 5 star service , all the team are amazing and having been several times to the hotel they are very loyal to the hotel some of them been there. I have never been to a hotel where the manager is so evident around the hotel helping out meal times and always accessible . Thoroughly recommend it

My Portobay Journey
A well located hotel on the promenade and Old Town, with many restaurants close-by. The food and beverage quality and service are very good, with promotions available via e-mail direct. A range of bedrooms to suit budgets and preferences. Many staff are long serving and and well know how to provide excellent service.
