Deloix Aquacenter

This was our first visit to Benidorm and we thought we had probably made the correct choice, as our first impressions were very good.

As we were probably the last drop off with our transfer that took almost 2 hours, but we were glad when we arrived as this hotel was looked very premium on first impressions compared to the many others that we had seen on our journey and when entering the hotel lobby area we certainly felt that we had made the right choice.

Although a good 20 minute walk from the main shops and seafront, this location is actually pretty good, as it's out of the way of all the rowdy bars, if you prefer some peace and quiet, a quiet hotel it was, as I found that it did slightly lack a bit of atmosphere, but it was quite peaceful inside, but traffic from all the roads around the hotel this could be heard especially from our balcony, we found that the sound from mopeds and garbage trucks was quite regular, also there was a buzzing sound from our balcony that we couldn't figure out what exactly it was.

The all inclusive was a bit disappointing in a few ways, although the food selection in the restaurant was quite good, but you had to wait to be approached by the waiter to be offered a drink and sometimes they were short staffed, on a couple of occasions we waited for longer before giving up and having to approach the un manned bar to ask for drinks, but felt uncomfortable as we could see that they were short staffed, the outside bar service was quite slow at times, especially on the rooftop, as we got to the bar on a few occasions but there was no-one to serve you, then all of a sudden there would be two or three staff members come out at once, in the evenings there was no issues with this, also as the hotel has options of half board, there were people paying for drinks and snacks with debit cards that slowed things down and made a queue build up, there was not a buffet type of snack bar, you had to order a burger, chips, or pizza etc and wait for it to be cooked, this was limited for all inclusive, you could only have basics as there was a menu on the bar with blue ticks for all inclusive.

As we were all inclusive i wasn't keen on the idea of paying for the mini bar items, so we simply didn't use it, as the hotel was very close to Aldi, Iceland, Lidl and another local supermarket, so we stocked up with some of our preferred drinks.

Sometimes I wondered if it would be quicker to walk to Aldi's to get some drink instead of waiting at the bar.

Overall, this is a lovely hotel, it's very clean and tidy generally, especially the toilets and lobby, pool areas and internal garden area, but some areas could be improved, we probably wouldn't return here for the reasons mentioned, but some of the people that we spoke to had stayed at the Deloix before, so it is quite a popular hotel.

I do now wonder why we actually booked all inclusive, as Benidorm is so cheap to eat and drink out and you are never far away from anywhere.

Lovely hotel with great pools and was very clean. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Just back from an all inclusive week stay with my cousin, who is a celiac. On our first visit tot eh restaurant, there was very little in the way of allergen information on the food cards, which was disappointing but when we asked the staff they were able to point out all the options.

Breakfast and lunch were catered well for my cousin’s dietary needs, but the dinner menu was lacking. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and did go out of their way to help, which we really appreciated.

Room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The room has an amazing shower.

The hotel is located 20 mins from the beach and main strip, which makes is a little bit quieter which is exactly what we wanted. Get selection of shops and food places both right and left when you leave the hotel.

We would definitely go back!
