This is unbelievably bad , 1st room they tried to give us stunk of faeces as soon as we opened the door the fridge was stinking there was mold on the sheets you couldn’t sit on the toilet without banging your knees on a cupboardwhen we tried to change rooms they said they were full but upon looking on booking.com they had loads of rooms once confronted with this information they moved us this room was slightly better but not much the bath was visibly stained with something there were loads of flies the beds were like concrete and the pillows . The lifts were hit and miss if they worked , the food was awful poor choice and cold , the snack bar they provided was 2 plastic storage boxes filled with crisps and nuts, the pool was in door there were no umbrellas by the sun loungers on the next floor up , you had to move by a pillar if you wanted shade, the bar stunk of sewage , the cleanliness was nonexistent and what was “cleaned’ and I use that word lightly smelt like a dirty smelly old mop. I can’t emphasise enough to stay away from this place

Room without a view!
Just got back from the Magic Cristal Park and can happily say I would never stay here again! Firstly when booking the holiday my party upgraded the room to the master family suite, this was absolutely nothing like those in the pictures and was most likely last decorated in the 80's and then not very well, beds were very uncomfortable and dipped in the middle, shower was coming away from the wall, cabinets in the bathroom were rotting away at the bottom and the view from this master suite? Was looking at other people's rooms! Lifts were very slow to the point most people, us included just gave up and used the stairs. The food? We paid for all inclusive and what a mistake that was! Food was disgusting at best, in fact utterly disgusting would have been a massive improvement! We tried breakfast and gave up after not even a half of a meal, tried the lunch and evening meals and those were rank too! We gave up on the food and just wished we had gone self catering. The only good thing you could say about this hotel is about the location and the maid service. So if you want a good holiday then don't stay here, if you want an average holiday also don't stay here, I wouldn't even go as far to say to stay here even if you wanted a bad holiday simply because it isn't that good!
You get what you pay for
Back today from our 6th stay at the hotel, it seems strange next time we go it’ll have been refurbished. Are there more modern hotels in Benidorm, absolutely yes. Is there better food available at other hotels, absolutely yes. Are there cheaper AI prices elsewhere, definitely not. Is the hotel in the most perfect location, without a doubt. The beds are super comfy, there’s always hot water for a shower, housekeeping keep the rooms spotless, every single member of staff we encountered were cheerful & helpful. Even the lifts behaved themselves this time 😬 I know this review is from my perspective, but so are the negative ones. Looking forward to going when it reopens

It's got some issues!
We chose the Cristal Park as part of a 5 night all-inclusive holiday with love holidays. It was our first time in Benidorm and 2nd time in Spain. Our party consisted of 4 Adults, 1 Child & 1 Baby. We found the location fantastic, not to far away from what Benidorm has to offer. The check-in process is a bit slow. You get a wristband which has a tag on it that opens your room door. No more looking or losing your room card, great idea. Our rooms were clean and well laid out. The rooms were cleaned daily and the bed was really comfy. The hotel itself is dated but ok. The hotel has 2 restaurants -1 & -2. We found -2 to be quieter as the hotel was extremely busy. The choice of food is ok but the temperature of it was worrying. out of 5 breakfasts, 4 were luke warm and the 5th freezing and had to be microwaved. The plates were also dirty. The hotel consists of 7 floors, the pool and sunbeds are on floor 7. There are 4 lifts, only 2 were working on and off during our stay. I don't drink alcohol, mainly coffee, this was available at meal times but not snack times (4:30pm - 6:30pm in -2) i asked for a coffee at the pool bar on floor 7 and it's not available, they didn't do it. To get a drink, I had to go from floor 7 to floor 0 (Ground floor bar) The lifts are always in high demand so you wait ages and the bars only have 1 person serving at any one time, even at peak times so the queues are long. This was very frustrating. I witnessed queue jumping several times too, people going to the side of the bar and being served while the people in the queue are left waiting. The snack bar served burgers which were the only hot thing we had here.... and they were delicious I have to say. Our pickup time for transfers back to Alicante was 6:30pm on a Thursday. The Tuesday before we went to reception to arrange keeping a room on. At that point we were told the all-inclusive package ends at midday on the Thurs. As we had 6 1/2 hours to wait, he said that he can arrange at least a meal for us all. He said to come back on the Thurs morning so this could all be arranged. When we went back to reception on the Thurs to check out, it was a lady behind the desk. No we can't extend the room and no to the meal as our time has ended. We got the impression they don't want to know you and it's not their problem as soon as it hits midday. Overall, we had a great little getaway to Benidorm, the hotel has issues that could have made it amazing. We mainly ate out at Dinner, nothing to do with the hotel, just that we were always out in the day. It's a very, very busy hotel so expect noise.... a lot of it. The hotel was part of a package so overall we found it good value.

Good hotel for the price
Looking at reviews before coming here were not great. But I haven't seen any negatives since I arrived. The air-conditioning works and the food is good and the staff are very nice. If I had to give a negative it would be the old type of shower over a bath with a shower curtain. It definitely needs updating to just a shower or wet room. But the hot water is hot and the rooms are clean. And the location is good, a roof bar and swimming pool are good. And I can't complain about the food as actually is very good.
