I am currently staying here, and unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. The reception staff have been rude and unhelpful throughout our stay. Our room has a strong sewage smell, which we reported twice. However, the response we received was dismissive, simply suggesting we could downgrade our room and blaming the wind, despite the fact that the room next door smells perfectly fine. Additionally, the staff have shown a lack of willingness to listen to our concerns, and their attitude has been unprofessional and unkind. We also spoke with another family who had numerous complaints, some of which were serious enough to threaten them. They also have family members with accessibility issues, yet their concerns seemed to be ignored. I strongly advise against staying here. If I had the choice, I would leave immediately. This experience has been far from acceptable, and I hope others are warned before booking.
Multiple instances of theft in one day !!
Corrupt!! Multiple different families have reported over the last few days that aftershaves, perfumes, cash and trainers etc have been stolen from their lodges after the housekeeper had been. At least 4 separate lodges all in the same row had been stolen from yesterday which were all cleaned by the same housekeeper. They know what they are doing as all lodges are checking out today and do not have time to get the local police involved etc. Reception wants nothing to do with it and will not give us any information or direction. We asked to speak to the manager and were told he will not come in until after we have checked out at 1pm today which is convenient. We have asked to view CCTV footage that they have on each row of lodges and they refused. They also stated that they will not take any responsibility for theft of items not locked in the safe - the safes do not work in most of the lodges after speaking with other guests. The doors to lodges lock automatically like most hotel rooms and so any access to the lodges can only be from either the wristband of the people staying in that specific lodge or the staff at the hotel.
Poor start
After traveling for 6 hours with 2 young children we didnt excited the park to tell us we had to wait for 4 hours untill a room was available. I questioned if it was acceptable an was told it was Spanish law 🙄 .
Mixed responses
Just got back from staying here with a 1 and 4 year old we stayed ultra all inclusive. When we arrived and eventually got our room we didn’t have enough beds set up we only had a double bed the room also wasn’t what it was advertised to us and had mould and dirty fridge lots of wear and tear I was very dissapointed and tried to speak to reception in person I tried calling several times and using the live chat but the only thing solved was they turned the sofa in the room into a sofa bed.
There also seems to be a large number of cats on the resort and at night and early morning you could often hear screaming and cat fights from them it would be good if the hotel were to look into any local cat spay programs as we witnessed several kittens being attacked by intact male cats
The food and drinks was some of the better all inclusive food we have had the quality was much better than other hotel s we had been to but they did lack on variety most nights were very similar food options it would have been nice to have had possibly themed nights as it seemed to be the same burgers pizzas kebab or bbq stylemeats mash salad some sort of veg deserts lacked variety over the days we were there they weren’t bad in taste or quality but just a bit a boring after a few days.
The pools are lovely cold when you get in but feel absolutely fine once you move around
There are several children activites the kids club was a little disappointing the one on our day trip to magic rock gardens was much better much more energy from staff. I attended it on a few occasions with my children as you can’t leave under 4s there and during the morning it was mostly free play but in the afternoon it seemed to be movies the children seemed bored and weren’t allowed to play whilst the movie was on and seemed relieved once it had finished. The kids disco was fun but it could have been more beneficial to start it earlier on in the evening
The childrens play areas do need some serious safety checks and maintenance the wooden park the seesaw was broken and the soft play by the main pool severealxchildren had fallen through the climbing nets on it and gotten stuck a lot of older children (although this is down to parents responsibility too) were climbing up the outside of the slides and preventing smaller children from being able to use the slides properly.
