Awful hotel with dated and dirty rooms - mold on the shower screen chipped cheap furniture bedding does not get changed - decor in the rooms is dated floors are dirty not cleaned properly patio was full of cigarette ash when we arrived and the glass and balustrade on the balcony was scruffy the towels are old and discoloured. There were cockroaches in the room and the buffet dining room I reported this to the hotel reception staff who found it amusing when I asked if they would like to see photo evidence they declined and said they would pass it to maintenance and housekeeping with no intention whatsoever of doing as they said. We were offered a free soft drink the second time we reported cockroaches having already had a cheap bottle of cava which we gave back to them declined their free soft drink - we weren't chasing compensation of freebies just wanted them to take this seriously cockroaches carry serious health risks to humans - the food was disgusting poor quality tasteless bland and not fresh. The evening entertainment is rubbish the only good thing about this hotel is the location. If you want a lie in on holiday beware there is a building site on one side this was not specified to us at any time by the tour operator and if you have the misfortune of having your room on that side the noise and work from the site starts early every morning - Rude staff unless you are Spanish. My advice would be to book somewhere else and do your research unfortunately as a relative booked this one that was my mistake - do not book with well known large tour operators recommendations they lie. The 4 star rating may well have been earned over a decade ago but this hotel should be re-rated I would give it a 2 star at best and that is being generous - Do not be fooled when you walk in as they have obviously given the reception and lobby a facelift. I do not normally review hotels and have travelled all over Europe and I did this review in the hope I can spare someone the misery of staying here
Until check out I was going to give a positive review, however because we handed our towel ticket to the check out lady we could not provide this when handing back our towels. An easy mistake to make and also the hotel name is blazoned across them. We made two attempts to resolve this situation, but the attitude and manner of the staff were a disgrace. Not prepared to budge and say “no ticket, no refund” is at the least disappointing. The reception staff should be warm and friendly at reception and not like the “computer says no”. Arrogance and non-negotiation are not the skills required to run a reception. So for folks going REMEMBER YOUR TOWEL TICKET! I now have a nice hotel alay towel in my house 😀
Adults only. Very clean hotel. Amazing location by the harbour. Some people complained about breakfast but we found it ok. Had everything you can eat from bacon and sausage, bread and cakes. Fruit etc. the staff were friendly and efficient. The pools were not fancy but clean. Bit of a race in the morning for beds but pools don’t open until 9am so at least you don’t have to get up at ridiculous o’clock. The pool bar staff were friendly and the bar area kept clean all day. The snack food at the bar was lovely. Would definitely stay there again. We were in room 753 the views were amazing
Very disappointed with the hotel and quite a few of the staff rude and unhelpful, not enough sun loungers and when asked about if there were any extra as there was 4 of our group and another 4 people with out we were told there was none and we would have to go to the beach when I didn’t d fund an empty one I asked if I could move it of the grass on to the rooftop and was told yes if i could carry it myself, when asking for information at the reception were were told incorrect information and while trying to purchase drinks from the bar the staff were rude and unhelpful ended up not being able to shower on our last days as we had asked on the run up how we went about this and was told to ask on the day only to be told we should have booked a slot and there was none left, the bedroom only had one mirror in bathroom however the bed was comfortable overall not a great place to stay would not return or recommend
The first thing that hits you about this hotel is its beautiful lobby. That's where it stops. Rooms have no drawers for storage and rooms are small, 2 people, I lived out my suitcase for a whole week
Cleaning from housekeeping was non existent and I mean daily. My room was dirty, floors not brushed, neither was balcony, surfaces not wiped, bins not emptied and hairs in the shower,. Only thing that was done, the bed was made. Disgusting, from a 4 star you say?
The pool, well you had to be standing on a que before the gates were opened at 9am to try get a seat; Huge grass area which could of accommodated more beds, though they don't bother. So we had to become " one of them" and que " Brits Abroad" it was embarrassing.
The staff at reception were ok, you could tell they didn't like their job and had the " I can't be arsed" attitude.
Breakfast was very very busy and manic, and the food was the same every day for 8 days. Mix it up, very boring.
The staff however at the pool bar should be commended, they were friendly and heppy, they were a joy and they worked hard.,
Try harder..
