This attractive hotel is situated right on the coast in Benalmadena, directly beside the celebrated Bil Bil Castle and only a five-minute stroll from La Paloma Gardens. The impressive Colomares Castle is within a 15-minute drive, while the town's popular marina and seaside promenade are just five minutes away by car. The airport is conveniently close since it is just about 15 minutes’ ride away. Guests can choose to spend the day in the outdoor swimming pool sunbathing or having a refreshing swim, in the restaurant tasting delicious food or in the bar and the chill-out zone for relaxation. The elegant rooms are decorated with warm tones and are equipped with all the needed amenities to make each stay the most pleasant and unforgettable one.
This hotel was so clean and the rooms were so spacious, the cleaners were in every day and kept it spotless, the breakfast staff were so helpful and breakfast I have to say im fussy but the whole family enjoyed breakfast every day and the staff at breakfast were amazing very attentative, also the pool staff were so friendly and helpful, definately a pleasant stay here with our first time staying here we will definitely be back.
This hotel has a great location on the front and was originally built in 1970 although it has obviously been refurbished several times since then. The location is good although the road at the front is an annoying feature that the resort could do without. The hotel decor is nice although the room is showing some scuffs and it generally could do with a lick of paint. We were given a superior room at the front, the only room at the front where the sea view is obscured by a huge tree! (See pictures) ordinarily I could sort this in 5 minutes but I’d forgotten to pack my chainsaw. Why the hotel has allowed this tree to grow in front of this balcony is beyond me, room 103. The rooms are spacious and the retro-fitted air conditioning means you have your own unit which keeps the room nice and cool. Food in the restaurant is good with plenty of variety, we were half board, breakfast and dinner both good. The pool area was good although this whole area looks like a later add on to the hotel so it’s elevated above the lounge area. Sunbeds were generally available through the day with minimal reserving of sunbeds. The Sky bar is a roof top bar that is very good and I wasn’t aware it existed until we turned up, generally good entertainment and drinks reasonably priced. The staff were very good, however you expect this in a proper 4 star hotel. Would I stop again? Probably not, I enjoyed the hotel but the resort with the road at the front just annoyed me, I’d rather stop at a hotel either on the beach or with a pedestrianised front. This is not the hotel’s fault just my personal preference.
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Las Arenas! The hotel and our room were really clean, with housekeeping every day and fresh towels.
There was lots of choice at breakfast and dinner, although dinner was quite fish-heavy. Tea, coffee and juices were included at breakfast, while drinks at dinner were extra but reasonably priced. The breakfast and evening staff were always really friendly and welcoming.
We originally stayed on the 6th floor but found it a little noisy from the Sky Bar. The hotel moved us to the 4th floor with no problem at all. I also celebrated my birthday during our stay and they surprised us with macarons, which was a lovely touch!
Great location opposite the beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend!
Loved this hotel. We were half board, food was fabulous, great choice and quality. Staff very efficient and friendly. Pool area very nice, especially liked the jacuzzi pool. Walking distance to the Marina, beach just across the road. Hotel is on a busy road, 4 lanes of traffic but this did not bother us. Sky bar very nice, very relaxing place to end the day . Air con excellent. We were on 6th floor, side sea view, nice balcony , lovely view. Room very clean and bright. A bit of noise from Sky bar which was just above our room but this did not impact our stay . Hotel very clean in all areas. Best hotel we ever stayed in on our summer holiday.
We stayed in a room on the right side, partial sea view, lovely sunsets. Room was nice enough but a bit dusty on the skirtings, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a wee wipe and I wouldn’t reduce my rating just for this. Restaurant staff were friendly, obviously lots of repeat older customers. The bar man at the pool, wish I’d got his name, was lovely and encouraged me to practice my Spanish. Food was excellent, loads of choices. Only annoyance was air con vent on to the balcony, ok in April for us. Would stay here again.
