Ipv Palace And Spa

We are having quite a bad experience at the moment. We loved the place a year ago, we came back on that basis and are now very disappointed. We have been allocated a bad room even if we are here for more than 7 days. After discussions, we have another one, paying 10 more euros, even if we didn't use the room. The room is OK but the hotel is tied. Then, 2 days later, our room is not made at 16h. Terrible service. I am not a bad reviewer usually, I tend to give 5 star to hotel I choice but what happened to the IPV? Soo disappointed! Not having a room made because they have too much turnover is not an excuse to me! Furthermore, I don't mind the beds, I just want new towels!

We have been coming to this hotel for many years about 3 times a year and loved it. But recently lots of things have been changed and not for the better. We have always had a garden room which was the same price as the others. You have now decided to call this a “superior garden room and a hefty extra price. Please could you tell me what you have done to call it superior? It’s exactly the same as before but the room hasn’t been decorated the wallpaper was torn in various places the curtains were absolutely filthy you are now charging for a kettle and the shower still floods the bathroom every time it’s used. There are no slippers, dressing gowns so what improvements have you done to call and charge it superior? The standard has slipped, the restaurant at breakfast was a joke, nobody clearing the plates, we had to put them onto another table and a waiter told me off! Sorry but we won’t be coming back until you can justify the extra price. There are lots of other hotels close by
