Centrally located and has all facilities you could want on site. It’s location allowed for easy exploration of what Fuengirola had to offer
Las Palmeras hotel is great not sure how anyone has a bad review on this hotel. We had an amazing 10 night stay and had absolutely 0 issues. Cleaners were superb and were in everyday, room was spotless. Good AC and bed was comfortable. We had a wonderful view from our room on the 8th floor. Noise level was non existent from the room so was very easy to sleep. Perfect location beside the beach, a lot of fantastic bars and restaurants right around the corner. Entertainment team Connor and Antonio was the best thing about the hotel and deserve their own review, couldn’t speak more highly of them both. Had a lot of fun with them and they’re both hilarious. They done some amazing activities throughout the day getting everyone involved no matter who you are. Worth coming back again just for them! Need to be at the pool for 10am to get sun loungers and pool bar was also fantastic, great cocktails and staff. Receptionists are very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back next year! 10/10!
Room with no workimg AC in August. Felt like sleeping in a Sauna. Hotel full they could only change room the following morning. Terrible unfriendly man at reception.will never stay here again.
Positive is the location nur hotel is old and run down.
We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. I travelled with my 13 year old daughter on a bed and breakfast basis. Having stayed in a wide range of hotels, from 3 star to 5 star. I was a little concerned after reading some of the recent reviews. However, our experience was very positive.
Yes, there are a few areas that could benefit from some updating, such as the carpets in the corridors and some refurbishment in places, and the pool could do with a little TLC. That said, none of these things affected our stay, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel itself.
Our room was spacious, clean, with everything we needed (mini fridge!). We had a great view, experienced no noise at all, and the air conditioning worked brilliantly. Perhaps some of the issues mentioned in previous reviews have now been addressed.
The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice. Fuengirola has so many fab restaurants, beaches, that we were out exploring most of the time. If you're looking for a large all inclusive resort where you'll spend all day on site, this may not be the best fit. However, if you want a clean, comfortable, and pleasant base to stay, I would 100% recommend it.
The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming :)
Just returned from 10 night stay at this hotel. For the price paid the hotel was excellent. The room was spacious and clean and the maid service took place everyday and was good. Our room overlooked car park at the back and there was no noise and the curtains blacked out any light so had good sleep. Some of the furnishings could do with being updated but based on price paid we couldn't complain. The entertainment team are excellent especially around the pool where there's always stuff going on including water aerobics each day just before lunch. The location is great on the front and a couple of minute walk to the main area for restaurants and bars. We only had bed and breakfast, there was plenty of choice for the breakfast. It was very busy at breakfast (we went about 9:30) but always got a seat. Seating available inside and outside. On last day with an evening flight home, due to hotel being full we couldn't get the option to pay 40 euro to keep our room until 5pm but we were able to store our luggage, have access to pool area and then access to courtesy room for shower and change of clothes before departing. We would certainly return here again.
