Love Illunion Miramar
We have stayed here 4 times, loved everytime, lots of entertainment, rooms clean, food lovely, big shopping centre 5 mins walk away, felt so safe. Staff so friendly. Excellent lifeguards. Such a relaxing holiday each time

5 star hotel
We are currently staying here in room 1204 and check out on Saturday. We are a group of 6 .What can I say about this hotel? It is the best there is in Fuengirola. We have been visiting since 2008, and it has never failed us. From the moment you enter the hotel until the time you leave, it truly feels like a home away from home. You have all the great facilities you could need for a relaxing holiday.
Reception
Brilliant check-in – everything was quick and straightforward. The reception staff, especially Pablo, are so nice, friendly, and professional. They always have time for a chat and are more than happy to help with taxis or answer any questions you might have.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping does an amazing job. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel is outstanding. Well done to everyone in housekeeping! We have stayed in Room 1204 for the last two years. It’s a lovely room beside the padel court, which caused no disturbance at all – you could barely hear the people playing.
Restaurant
The service in the restaurant is excellent. All the staff work incredibly hard every day to keep everything running smoothly. The staff, especially Álvaro, are very pleasant, and he is excellent at his job. The variety of food is brilliant – there is something for everyone, including those with dietary requirements. The hot breakfast is amazing and fantastic value at just €13. What a bargain! I’d also like to mention the chefs. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Well done to everyone!
Entertainment
The entertainment team is brilliant with the children and does a fantastic job both during the day and in the evenings. Laila is amazing at her job and such a friendly person. The singers on Thursday night were brilliant. Personally, I think they should perform on more evenings because the bar was buzzing when they were on. Everyone was dancing and singing along.
Lifeguards
The lifeguards are amazing, especially the two lads who are there all the time. They never take their eyes off the water and do an incredible job keeping everyone safe throughout the day. Well done, lads!
Aqua Bar
The Aqua Bar is the best bar in Fuengirola. The service and atmosphere are just brilliant. The food has improved so much, and there is now a great variety to choose from. The prices are excellent for the quality of the food and service you receive, and the bar has such a relaxed atmosphere.
A big shout-out to Andrés, who makes the best strawberry daiquiris, pink gin and tonics, and Blue Lagoons in Fuengirola. He is such a lovely man, always willing to help and have a chat with guests. He works incredibly hard and keeps the bar spotless. There were six of us in our group, and the daiquiris were our favourite drinks!
I’d also like to mention Conita, Daiana, Estiban, Victor, Antonio, and the young lads working on the tables. They are absolutely amazing members of staff and made our evenings so enjoyable.
This hotel truly is a home away from home. It is in a safe area, and you see the same families returning year after year, which says a lot about the hotel. There is a large shopping centre nearby, and it’s only a short walk to the restaurants, bars, and beaches.
Thank you for another amazing stay. We are going to enjoy our last few days here, and we will definitely be back. A five-star hotel – book it and see for yourself! Well done to everyone at the hotel, and keep up the excellent work

Relaxed hotel great for families
Brilliant hotel, relaxing atmosphere. Pools are great for young children, not cold and not too deep in areas. Would happily return and thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks Miramar for a great holiday

Average Stay
The hotel was generally clean, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The pool area was nice, and the pool itself was enjoyable.
However, there were several drawbacks. Housekeeping was only provided every third day, and dishwashing was not included. The room was very small, and the air conditioning was extremely noisy, making it difficult to relax. The soundproofing was also poor, so it was easy to hear what was happening in the neighboring rooms.
Room service and guest services were limited when needed. At the pool, food could only be ordered after 12:30, and the only menu I could find offered pizza. Drink prices were also quite high—a beer cost €6.20, while a nearby four-star hotel charged only €4.00.
Overall, the hotel has some positive aspects, particularly the cleanliness, friendly reception staff, and pool area, but the small rooms, noise, limited services, and high prices made the experience less enjoyable.
Nice Aparthotel, great family holiday..
Great holiday complex with lots to do on site. Big shopping center next door is amazing with a good food court. Location is a little bit away from town centre and main strip, but for us on a family holiday that was fine. The walk in and out via the river is nice. Very easy to get in via taxi/bus/uber/bolt or a 10/15 min walk depending on your pace. The Animations team are brilliant also. Rooms very nice, clean and practical. Breakfast is decent and swimming pool/ bar areas are fantastic. Staff very nice and friendly. Would come back for sure.
