Yarapoor Hotel Cold Food Poor Service
If you like cold food and poor service then I thoroughly recommend this hotel This is supposed to be a TUI Blue hotel however having stayed in other TUI blue locations I believe the Yarama needs to have this title removed.
Invariably whenever we go to the restaurant there are never any tables set and ready for guests with many either full of empty plates or been cleared and not reset on one occasion we asked a server if there were any set tables for us to sit at she just held her arms out and shrugged her shoulders.
Food is left out on the servery without temperatures being regularly checked and is invariably always only just luke warm show cooking food is not cooked to order and in our experience is also luke warm, when pointed out it wasn’t hot they suggested they could reheat it (chicken???) We even witnessed one guest heating his cooked breakfast in the provided microwave.
Rooms are lovely and clean and appear to have recently been modernised however there is no drawers or places to store clothes apart from a couple of shelves in the wardrobe and nowhere to put your suitcases so room always looks untidy and cluttered
They advertise happy hour but cocktails aren’t included.
Pool towels are provided but if you want to change them during your holiday it costs you €1.00 per towel. Never had this before.
Overall for what you pay it’s very overpriced and certainly not good value for money

Lovely Hotel
Very clean hotel, refurbished room which was cleaned daily. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Pool area is nice and overlooks the prom and beach. There is 20% off at the beach club opposite, we spent 2 days out of our 7 there. There were plenty of lifeguards around as the water was a bit rough due to the wind. As mentioned in other reviews the age group is definitely older, 65+, I would say, but it does make for a relaxed and quiet environment. We didn’t stay in for the entertainment as we prefer to go out in the evening, had a nice stroll along the prom and found some decent bars. There was a TUI rep there every day if needed. We got a taxi to Mijas Pueblo one day (and the bus back), which was a lovely day out. We also got the ferry to Benalmádena from the port for a change of scene (definitely preferred Fuengirola). The food was average really, I think I expected a bit better for a 4 star but it was okay. There was always sunbeds available, although some people were there at 9 am to reserve their preferred ones! Would return and do the Ronda trip as well next time.
Great hotel on the beach
Really enjoyed our stay here. Room on the 11th floor had fantastic views. The atmosphere was relaxed with incredibly hard working staff. All of the reception, cleaners and the waiting staff were top notch. Busy busy people never stop to make your holiday a good one. A big thank you from us. The location of this hotel is great, plenty walks both ways, big shopping centre around 2 miles away and as it’s right on the beach you couldn’t ask for more. There are 4 lifts and all are busy but always available. There is entertainment but we didn’t stay in for it as we liked to walk. But it always looked like people were enjoying their time. On that where we were on floor 11 we did not here any noise, either from the streets or the hotel. Which is incredible with the amount of people about. Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was good although I would suggest a look under the beds from the cleaning team. Food was decent and always something for me and my wife who’s a vegetarian. We would like to thank the whole team and we would absolutely stay again. Especially with a free glass of cava, a bottle or red wine, nuts and water for us on arrival.
Hotel Yaramar: Paradise.
Great sea front location. Quiet and respectful ambience, minimal noise. Modern bed room with good storage, en-suite with large walk in shower, excellent power shower, cleaned daily, sheets changed regularly. Good value half board 4 star hotel, excellent food choices and quality. Top quality cleanliness. Fabulous pool with lots of beds and chairs. Excellent gym with sauna and jacuzzi, which was very clean and well maintained.
Fabulous stay
Hotel and staff are beautiful, room was spacious, we was on the 11 floor and had no trouble waiting for the lifts. I loved the food, fresh, and tasty for the cold food the hot was not so good. Pool was lovely no trouble getting a sunbed.
