This beach apartment complex is located in the bustling tourist area of Torremolinos. The airport is just about 10 minutes’ ride away. The hotel enjoys an idyllic setting just a couple of steps from the beach and just 500 metres from the town centre and its wide variety of shopping opportunities, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Guests will appreciate the peaceful surroundings, yet are never far from the heart of the entertainment. The outdoor pool area is a wonderful place where to spend a sunny day. The spacious rooms enjoy a tasteful style and offer a comfortable home away from home. They come well equipped with modern amenities and offer a haven of peace and tranquillity in which to relax and unwind in comfort at the end of the day.

Overall very good with some room for improvement
Lovely building, spanish rustic charm. Great location. Reception staff were very friendly. But like many others here have said, the bar staff are a let down, not very friendly - trying yo talk with them is like pulling teeth - they just dont seem happy in their jobs. Rooms are spotless, lovely big shower, cleaning top notch. However, they are missing no basic appliances like kettle or toaster, especially in the family rooms. We were told at reception to boil water in a pot. I see in another review the staff went out of their way to get a kettle for a guest - so I can only conclude it depends on who you ask at reception. The safe in the room only functions with a key that you need to rent per day and pay a 20 euro deposit for. Then of course you need to mind the key ...would be much better with a combination lock. In the end though, the good outweighs the bad and we would stay here again.

Great location and fabulous spacious apartment. We had 3 rooms total and one shower had an issue which was rectified immediately. Beds were so comfortable and drinks were well priced in the bar. We stayed room only and did as breakfast on one morning which we felt was expensive, particularly when there are plenty of places locally to grab breakfast much cheaper. We would definitely return here. 100% recommend!

Pleasantly Surprised !
I wasn't sure what to expect as i've never been to the costa del sol. The hotel on arrival was amazing, the reception staff were super happy and gave us a lovely welcome. The rooms were cleaned everyday, and the shower was amazing ! We were in room 318 with a partial view of the sea. Bed really comfortable too. No complaints at all regarding the room. Only had breakfast once however the selection was brilliant and really tasty so cannot fault that either. Have to queue for the sunbeds beside the pool opening at 10am, advise to get down by 0930/45 to secure your spot, although there was always plenty space throughout the day. Pool toilet surprisingly clean, pool very deep ! Alcohol prices very reasonable and entertainment on for most nights we were there. Overall more than please with our stay, and would 100% return. The location was spot on too for everything !!

A slight disappointment
We were here as a family (2 adults, 6-year old & 11-year old). We wanted to cook our own breakfast and occasionally lunch at the hotel, otherwise we wanted to eat outside. Our kids like to swim in the pool and ocean and explore nearby neighborhood in the evenings (dinner). After staying here for 6 nights, here's our review of the hotel: The good:
- location
- cleanliness
- spacious hotel room
- nice pool and affordable pool bar
The bad:
- very simple rooms (very little furniture, old and noisy cooling devices)
- minimal kitchen equipment (no toaster, no filter coffee maker, no kettle, no dishwasher or brushes)
- very loud evening shows and bad sound insulation (we had to go to sleep with earplugs every night because shows lasted until midnight)
- pool area sunbeds are chargeable (4 euros/sunbed/day)
- disgruntled staff (besides pool bar)
- other guests were mainly seniors so no other kids to play with, nothing against seniors :) .
The ugly: The hotel is from the 70s and it shows.

Still the Number 1 in Torremolinos
This is Our 19th year to stay in the very Best, Hotel Apartamento Bajondillo we Stay 2 times per Year, May with our Family and September with our Friends, Over the year we have stayed in many Hotels in Torremolinos But none come close to the Wonderful Bajondillo, Arrive on 31st August to a lovely warm welcome back from Reception and we were thanked for our loyalty to the Hotel ,which was lovely for them to remember there customers, Asked for a specific room if possible by e mail and as always was not dissapointed lovely room 306 Spotless clean and lovely views,Big thanks to reservis Department who are always there to help. Room was lovely ,every thing you need at hand ,confy Beds ,good air con TV with english channels,Nice clean Bathroom, Rooms are cleaned 6 days a week and towels changed 6 days a week,the cleaning staff as always were very friendly thank you. Great food menu and service in restaurant very good value for your money The pool area and garden was lovely well maintained as always, pool side bar great service and food very resonable prices, Night entertainment was very good, most were excellent,big thank you to the waiters who served the coustomers an the terrice at the shows,great friendly service and lovely attitude to guests ,woth tipping these men thank you,Bar staff behind counter could be a bit more pleasent to guests, As usulal we have had a fantastic Stay and a wonderful holiday,Big thanks to Management and all Staff, Aleady looking forward to next year and with Gods help we will to the No 1 in Torremolinos, Hotel Apart Bajondillo,
