This hotel is strategically situated in Torremolinos in the heart of the Costa del Sol, facing the beautiful sandy beach. Various excellent golf courses are within easy reach, and the centre of Malaga with its shopping facilities and business offices is only 12 km away. In the surroundings, there are many restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. The international airport is a few minutes ride away. The outdoor swimming pool area is perfect to sunbathe or have a relaxing swim. The elegant rooms are decorated with light colours and are equipped with all the essential needs for a wonderful stay. After a long working day, guests can exercise in the mini gym, or be pampered in the top-notch 350m² Thalasso Spa with a heated seawater pool, Turkish bath and sauna. At the Rooftop Sky & Sea (adults only) guests can enjoy the panoramic views over the Mediterranean, take a bath in the pool and have a cocktail at the bar. Shame some level staff have left
Regular visitors to this hotel. We always enjoy the adult only level lounge and rooftop space. So great to just walk in for a refreshment and snack.
We were sad to see all of the experienced level hosts ( Eva, Patricia and Jasmin) are no longer there. They always recognised us and made our trip even better. Such a shame.
We were pleased to see Irene is still there and just as friendly and helpful.
The buffet restaurant has plenty of options.

Fabulous hotel with a special level
My adult daughter and I came here for 6 nights having previously stayed at the Meliá palma bay and loved it. We went for a junior suite on The Level and it was fabulous and just as we’d hoped. It’s not a cheap option however for us with travelling with some anxiety issues it just makes everything easier. The communication before we arrived was great and the level receptionists were really helpful. Our junior suite had a massive balcony with a fabulous sea/beach view. The road outside can be noisy though at times but that didn’t bother us. The hotel is in a great location right near the old town and local restaurants and bars. Also lots of watersports options near the hotel. I noticed that it also seems to cater really well for those with disabilities.. pool lift to go into the water and ramps etc. There is a lounge and pool purely for The Level residents and we loved this…loads of sun loungers, towels replaced for 1 euro at any time. Constant supply of drinks including wine, beer, aperol etc whenever you wanted them plus soft drinks and tea/coffee. Lots of snacks available too. You also have your breakfast in The Level lounge which was amazing and there literally was everything you could possibly have wanted. Cooked breakfast, cereals, baked breakfast goods, yoghurts, cereals, ham, cheeses and smoked salmon, oils, Jams, honey, waffles and lots of different juices. You could also order pancakes if you wanted them which would be freshly made for you. There was also a gluten free corner with breads, biscuits and cakes. After breakfast the cakes and nibbles came out for lunchtime. Fab place

Great stay
We recently stayed at the Meliá Hotel for a week and had a fantastic holiday. From the moment we arrived, Victoria on reception made us feel welcome. She checked us in with a warm smile and was professional, friendly, and efficient – a great first impression. During our stay, my daughter unfortunately needed to see a doctor, and Beatrix went above and beyond to help arrange this for us. She was incredibly compassionate, helpful, and reassuring during what was a stressful time, and we are very grateful for her kindness. There has been some discussion about the 9am queue for sunbeds, but we honestly didn't see it as an issue. We planned to spend the whole day by the pool, so queuing for a few minutes to secure a sunbed seemed perfectly reasonable. Breakfast was excellent every morning. It was very well organised, with plenty of staff on hand, all smiling, attentive, and happy to help. The service really stood out. The Meliá Beach Club was another highlight of our stay, serving great cocktails in a lovely atmosphere, with afternoon music entertainment that made it the perfect place to relax. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The friendly staff and excellent service made all the difference, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. We highly recommend the Meliá Hotel and look forward to visiting again!

Biggest disappointment for my 60th Birthday
Went for my 60th Birthday with my sister and two nieces. Paid for two deluxe room and these were the furthest away from the sea right next to the lifts. Food was basic. Pool sunbeds very few. Have to pay daily for hotel sunbeds on the beach. Lifts a nightmare, reception a nightmare . Paid £1000 each for 4 nights and felt completely ripped off. Would not recommend . Never a 4* struggling for a 3.

Not a four star plus !
Although the hotel is good don’t know how it got a 4* plus rating. On checking in went through the hallway to the lifts and plaster was falling off the ceiling and maintenance were poking holes in it due to obviously a leak. The lifts are small and do get busy , luckily only on the second floor so used the stairs most of the time. The room was fine with an excellent shower. Problem was the air conditioning, we put it on cold when going out (18 degrees) but on return hours later it was still 26 degrees in our room. Only stayed B&B but the food quality and variety were poor. Also if you didn’t queue for a sunbed at 9am you didn’t get one . Plenty of beds with towels on and no people. Sorry but won’t be returning. Stayed at other hotels in the area what are way better.Also ceiling fan in room didn’t work.
