This hotel is located directly in the tourist centre of Torremolinos and is separated from the sandy beach by just a road. An array of shops and entertainment attractions are located within 3 kilometres of the hotel. The closest airport is just 7 km from the hotel. Public transport departs from stops located directly in front of the hotel.
This attractive apartment hotel was built in 1975 and renovated in 1997. The hotel offers a total of 326 guestrooms spread over 4 floors of which 12 are singles, 128 doubles and 186 are apartments. The facilities include a spacious lobby with a lift, a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a conference room and a games room. In addition, it has a cosy café, bar, shops and an air-conditioned restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for younger guests. Medical assistance is also on offer for should it be necessary. The hotel offers younger guests a playground and kids' club.
The rooms and apartments are tastefully decorated and include an en suite bathroom. In addition, they are fitted with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, central heating and a safe.
Guests are offered a swimming pool, a pool bar, sun loungers, parasols, a hot tub, water aerobics, a solarium and massage service as well as a diversified entertainment programme.
Guests may choose their breakfast, lunch or dinner from the respective buffets. Guests may also book all-inclusive stays.

Lovely place, very clean, food was beautiful, staff were lovely. Right on tge seafront . Definitely recommend.

40th celebrations
Amazing hotel. The staff are the best part of the hotel. They couldn't do enough for you. The food was vast and varied. They had themed nights and the BBQ the a la carte was a nice touch to have a dinner there also. The drinks are mostly a brand and the cocktails are decent for an inclusive. The photo shoot we had done by Photo hotel for my 40th was amazing. We got magnet's and a photo album to treasure those memories. The rooms are spacious bright and modern. The Aircon was amazing. The rainfall shower was a nice touch and had shower gel and hand gel available. The access to the beach was convenient. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the main area of torremolinos so near that in mind. Taxi and bus services are available. Both pools are great. Plenty of sunbeds. Could do with more shaded area's but that's my preference to have shade. The entertainment was amazing and these staff never stopped all day. The night rien shows were brilliant but again best in mind it was on a 7 day rotation in September so you maybe see the same show again if there for 10 nights or 14 nights. Overall we had an amazing stay. The photo shoot and the staff were the highlight. We did have a sad ending to our trip as someone had an accident in our family and the staff were professional and handled the situation as best they could and I thank them for this. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Lovely experience
This is the 3rd time we’ve stopped at this hotel and above all, the word ‘consistency’ springs to mind. The hotel complex, and it is a complex, is clean, tidy and very well run. For this trip we had a couple of octogenarians in tow who have limited mobility, so it was important to have everything to hand. The location is perfect for this type of family short break, due to the hotels various pool areas, entertainment, good food, the beach being just across the road and as an added bonus a transfer time of 10 minutes to and from the Airport. I would like to take this opportunity to say how wonderful the staff are, especially in the restaurant, they looked after our elderly travellers beautifully, nothing was too much trouble and it made such a difference to us all. Thank you Hotel Occidental, you did a great job there.

Barcelo hotel
Hotel from Barcelo group. Definitely worth recommending. Close to the beach, very good food and and snacks.
Very Nice Hotel / Location
Very pleasant experience, the room was quite nice, clean and the hotel staff very nice. The location was very good a few meters away from the beach, missed parking space in the hotel car parking. The negative part of the stay was the photo experience given by the external photo company. Very nice photographer ruined by very rude staff when presenting the photos. Unclear conditions, payment and all the process was taken in a very rude way until the end. Something to avoid in the future.
