Riu Costa Del Sol

.We have just returned from a 2wk stay at the Riu Costa Del Sol, and have had a really lovely time. This hotel is situated at the beginning of the Torremolinis coast line, which gives the beauty of being able to walk or taxi into the main areas for more life, if that is what you want. The hotel access from the airport is very easy as it takes around 20 mins in a taxi ( about 15-20€). The CDS is a lovely hotel and caters for all different nationality's. The set up is easily walkable, as it is on the flat. It is predominantly at hotel that is used by an older clientele due to it's position. It is immaculately clean (as with other Riu hotels) and the garden areas are kept in a lovely condition. The food is very good and I would defy anyone to not be able to find anything they like. It is a repeatable 7 day menu, which is usual for all Riu's. There is ample seating available for dining sessions and the staff are lovely. The drinks are of AI quality, but are very drinkable and the bar staff are very very efficient with very minimal queues. There are 3 bar areas at different areas to be able to enjoy a drink if you so wish. This hotel is situated right across the road from the beach, which has a number of bar/restaurants available for lunch if you so choose. The beach is cleaned every morning by a tractor pulling a sand siving machine leaving it looking lovely. There are lifeguards patrolling during the day, controlling times when the sea is rough (which for us was around 3dys out of 14), but the sun was continually shining for the 2wks we were there. The only drawback I found was the pool towel time, which was only from 16.00 - 18.00 and only at one station situated at the middle of the hotel areas. This was inconvenient as it meant you had to be aware of the time if you wanted your towels changed and depending where you was seated, it could be a bit of a walk to change them. But heyho if that's the time, that's the time. So it's not a complaint. We have stayed in a number of Riu's around the world and I must say, this hotel is my new favourite, as it is just over 2hrs away and provides everything we need for our stay. We will be back for more regular stays as we have found a gem of a hotel giving very affordable holidaying.

Honestly, we can’t fault the place. Everything has been brilliant — from the hotel itself to the food, atmosphere and, most importantly, the staff. Every single member of staff we’ve come across has been so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The service really has been 5-star! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’ve eaten, drank, relaxed and generally done very little — which is exactly what a holiday is all about! 😂

A big thank you to everyone at Riu for making our stay such a lovely one. We’ll definitely be leaving here with a smile… and probably a few extra pounds around the waist! 😂❤️
