Elba Lucia Sport and Suite Hotel

Just returned from our 10 night stay at this hotel, my review is an open and honest one. Firstly we did read a good handful of previous reviews before we went ahead to book it, having stayed at the nearby Globals hotel a few years ago we knew what the general area was like. No it doesn’t have air conditioning but then again it doesn’t say it has if you read everything first, the fans you can hire do work as they should but if the air is very warm then it’s not rocket science that they will blow warm air around. It’s a budget hotel which offers a good choice of food & drink at the low price you are paying (bare this in mind), the rooms are ok, the pool area is of a good size, the pool bar is acceptable with a good choice of drinks. The staff are extremely friendly, hard working and efficient, the guys at the reception desk (ladies too) were fantastic, very chatty and recommended a few places to eat in Caleta which we took up the offer. Putting the location of the hotel to one side because if you take time to view it first then you cannot complain about it if you book to stay, there’s a few bars a short walk away, the costal footpath down to Caleta is amazing to walk with views. To round up my review, yes in some areas some updating required, yes you will see tiny ants but then again you’ll see them in a 5* hotel, replace any broken furniture, the sun lounges & small plastic tables outside do need a clean down. This hotel served its purpose for me & my wife to have a nice break away and enjoy ourselves, in my opinion its a 3* hotel and happy with the price we paid for what we got in return, but it won’t take too much effort to spruce it up a bit.

You do get what you pay for we got a really good all inc firstly we knew no Aircon the hotel is in a residential area so nothing around enjoyed the goat for cocktails shots 5 min walk used promenade everyday lovely walk can get taxi to next resort various charges upto 7 euro did use shuttle once starts too late in day gym also late 9 why not 7 it's not manded just seems a waste off morning starting 9 food hit an miss nothing for vegitarians pool area no movable shades very little shade beds mostly broken challenge finding one in one piece 9.30 before you get a bed wouldn't like to be here high season pool is absolutely Baltic never been in such a cold pool room picture differently ai generated there very old basic needs redoing we did get changes towels bins emptied floors not brushed moped once beds not changed if a brush an mop in room would have done myself all staff were 5* they make the hotel we did have a nice time we would not return even with the Great price we had
