Fabulous holiday
Fabulous! Hotel & grounds spotless. Rooms really big & clean, air con great , shower brill with plenty of hot water. Food- loads of choice & plenty of it . Could do with being a little warmer though. Some aircraft noise but not too early or late, & you don’t hear it after a while . Staff very nice , cheerful & friendly, from reception through to maids . Would definitely return.

Not a happy experience
We stayed here at blue sea caleta dorado, just got home after 7 days, the staff were really good, changed our towels etc every other day, the food in the surrounding bars and restaurants was really good, the main issue we had was maintenance in the area like roads and pavements and all the rubbish not collected and the long walk to the beach

Holiday with couples and friends
It’s really lovely and very big we ran into Leah and ramy on our first night here they were very nice to us
Pleasant but not perfect
We had a great holiday here, all the staff were really lovely and very welcoming. We have no complaints about the food at all, there is so much choice and they have different meals on every day (bbq, seafood etc) with all of the usual options so it’s ideal for everyone. All 3 pools are really well maintained and clean and there are more than enough sun beds for everyone. We noticed there weren’t any parasols up by the main pool which was a shame as we had a young baby with us that needed to be in the shade. That happened to be where the snack bar & children’s splash park was so we unfortunately couldn’t use them unless we walked up. There was another children’s pool which was great and was easily accessible with a pram etc. The accommodation is in a great location and only a 10 minute walk from the town and beach and there are plenty of local shops near by. The only downside we found was that in our room, there were a lot of ants. Unfortunately this did come to be quite frustrating as they were just everywhere. The rooms are cleaned every other day but nothing seems to be happening in terms of getting rid of them. We did see the cleaning staff sweeping & mopping the floors in the apartment, however the floors are absolutely filthy (I only know this as my baby was crawling on the floor and his clothes were black after 5 minutes). All in all, we had a good time. I probably wouldn’t return unless the ant problem is resolved but if you’re looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful then I would recommend staying here.
