Just WOW! 10 out of 10 from a nervous first time solo traveller! Definatly worth the money i paid!
On arriving at the hotel, check in wasnt until 3pm, i arrived at dinner time however i was greeted by a friendly receptionist who checked if my room was ready, unfortunatly it wasnt. Instead she gave me a towel, key to the shower room and a safe place for my luggage(i was even offered a glass of champagne.) Everywhere i looked was exceptionally clean and staff continued to make me feel welcome. My room was modern and clean. It was cleaned daily. Air con was great. Balcony was a good size. I overlooked the road but couldnt hear any traffic and was peaceful. The pool areas had sufficient beds so no rush to grab one early, although the infinity pool area was popular so i was up early to grab one of those. The entertainment around the pool was well organised and the person organising it encouraged guests to join in but wasnt overly pushy. I enjoyed all the activities and as a solo traveller it gave me the opportunity to meet other guests. The atmosphere was relaxing and just enough entertainment to break up the day. Evening entertainment was also well organised and worth stopping at the hotel for. If you are willing to join in then you will have lots of fun! I was breakfast only and enjoyed the food i had. Enough choice for me. The hotel s location is great. Plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants close by and only a short walk to the harbour. In short great hotel and fabulous staff. I will be revisiting asap!
The Hotel is in the perfect location. It is within 5-10 minutes of beach, shops ,bars, restaurants ,activities and entertainment. You are close to everything so easy access but just far enough away from and noise during night. The infinity pool looks over the sea. There was always plenty of food to choose from in the restaurant. (They had lactose free milk which isn't provided in all hotels and a gluten free section). We went half board but choose to eat out a few times for evening meals , on those occasions we were able to switch dinner and lunch around as long as we informed reception in the morning.( This was a welcome surprise as this isn't always an option). The hotel has an a la carte restaurant on site which is one of the places we chose to eat in the evening. the food was delicious and a 10% deduction was given as we were hotel guests. The Hotel was always kept very clean. They have several pools, as mentioned before and infinity pool overlooking the sea as well as two other swimming pools on ground level. one of which had a hoist to aid disabled people into the pool. There are also ramps throughout the hotel . On the upper level there are 4 hot tubs and a sundeck. The hotel also has a gym, pool/table tennis table and quite areas in the shade should you want them.They.do run activtes though the day along with some evening entertainment. THE HOTEL STAFF were always pleasant and extremely helpful. the atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed , chilled and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here. again if/when we return.
Stayed at this hotel from the 4th of July too the 18th in a Junior suite All Inclusive overlooking the pool with excellent sea view, lovely room with good views . Very nice and clean hotel with a good location , food was a bit, hit or miss and the bar only had one choice of beer ? . The entertainment was average so we had food and drink out a lot ( also due to the football ). All in All had a very good time , so we have booked to return on September the 26th this year , should also mention the staff were very polite and hard working , Thanks for a good time A1.
A very lame attitude of the stuff/company policy. The hotel is just average, yet asking an all inclusive customer to pay extra for a drink, just because I was standing at the bar queue at 23:01 (one minute late) is just pathetic. I hope the 11 euros will change your life for the better. Together with the bar at 23:00 the music goes down as well. Just don’t expect too much of the place.
Overall a pleasant experience at Ereza Mar. I was a bit apprehensive after booking and reading more reviews in detail but there were no huge issues in our experience.
The location of the hotel is perfect - 10 mins walk from beach, 10 mins from marina, 5 mins from local bars / restaurants, 10 mins in taxi from airport. Couldn’t ask for much more in terms of location, spot on. The infinity pool overlooks the sea, we really enjoyed this and preferred it to the main pool in the middle of the hotel. The hotel itself is very quiet, perfect for those wanting a really chilled and relaxed vibe. However I did feel that the hotel was missing a bit of character and excitement - something as simple as playing music during the day would have boosted the mood a little. Likewise, the evening entertainment was on the boring side and many people didn’t stick around for it. Sunbed availability was a bit of an issue. The hotel was allegedly at capacity when we were there and people were getting up early to put down towels, not returning until the afternoon to use the sunbeds so quite unfair! We did raise this with staff once but they said this is the norm. I personally don’t like leaving towels down unless i’m using the space straight away, but we ended up doing this towards the end of our stay because everyone else was!
The room was ok, nothing special but well looked after and no huge issues with cleanliness / maintenance. Really comfortable mattress and pillows and housekeepers always did a great job. However the Netflix didn’t work on the TV and the shower temperature changed dramatically after moving the nozzle even a smidge. The hotel should consider getting some blinds for the bathroom windows, or getting a door that is not transparent; the light from outside woke me up early pretty much every morning. We had a balcony overlooking the sea with a table and chairs, this was nice and the outdoor space also had an airer to dry clothes / swimwear from that day. The Wi-Fi worked in the room but 4g / 5g had to be used elsewhere in the hotel, bit of a pain really as Wi-Fi was described to work across the hotel.
We enjoyed the pool tables on offer, there are three altogether and well looked after. Our only gripe with this is that they couldn’t be used in the evenings if a ‘show’ was on, we found this a little frustrating as we enjoy a drink and a game of pool in the evening after a meal.
We found the food to be good for all inclusive, we were pleasantly surprised on some days. Plenty of options, though always basics like chips / chicken nuggets on offer. The meat was always cooked well and everything always served hot. There was a variation of pork served (presumably because it is one of the cheaper meats to purchase). During our stay we had chops, tenderloin, and spare ribs. Chicken and beef used to make curries, stir fry dishes etc. There were some options for vegetarians too - vegetable lasagne, pasta dishes etc. The salad bar was great, fresh veg replenished all the time. The drinks were a bit of a disappointment, cocktails like sex on the beach, mojito etc. all came out of a machine and tasted poor. However lots of spirit options, and wine served at lunch / dinner / throughout the day.
Staff generally very welcoming, attentive, friendly. There was a lifeguard / first aider on site every day who was approachable, usually disappeared around 6pm ish.
