Barceló Corralejo Bay - Adults Only, refurbished in 2019, is just 80 m from Corralejo Beach and next to Corralejo Shopping Centre. There is a bus stop 500 m from the hotel if guests wish to explore the island. A bicycle and car rental service is available, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the Corralejo Dunes National Park. Guests can enjoy healthy food at the hotel's buffet restaurant, which also hosts themed dinners and offers room service during the day. There is also a poolside bar with a cocktail menu.

Group with learning disabilities
Lovely clean hotel in a perfect location. A group of 14 of us were there for 11 nights. We were a group with special need adults. We were having a lovely time with no issues until the 10th day. Each day we had 14 sun beds all together so we could support each other and there was routine for those with learning disabilities (essential to avoid outbursts). We did not pick a prime position but further back and we had been told by a manager previously that due to the circumstances they had no issues with this. That all changed on the 10th morning. We found after breakfast that all our towels and belongings had been removed from the sunbeds. Another couple not connected to us had their towels removed too but I suspect it was because they were near us. No one else around us was targeted so all we can say was it was discrimination. Management on that day would not listen to us and ignored the fact that we had previously been told we could sit together. Those guests that witnessed the event could not believe what they were watching and were supporting us fully. We would not go back to this hotel after such clear discrimination. We have been holidaying as a group for over 20 years and have never ever been treated so badly. Shame on the management of 22nd September. You ruined what had been a good holiday. Avoid this hotel at all costs if you’re a group of special needs. 😡

20th stay
We holiday8 times a year far and wide across the world, Often using the Barcelo Hotels. Because they are always great, never had a bad experience with them. We use the Barcelo Corralejo Bay in particular 3 times a year, because of the great staff and celandines of the hotel.

Our 4th visit
Another great stay. This hotel has the most hard working friendly staff, they all work so hard to make it an enjoyable place to stay. Rooms and all areas are kept immaculate throughout. Food is always fresh and plenty of variety to chose from, cakes are so delicious! Never have to wait around for food, it’s replenished constantly and always hot. We chose to go All inclusive this time, so, spent quite some time around the pool and in the bar in the evening. Never had to wait very long for drinks, staff are very efficient and really look after you. The drinks are very strong, so be warned! The bar staff work so hard all the time and work together as a team, always smiling and very happy in their work. We only have a couple of niggles, the queuing for sun beds is from around 8.30 each morning and it does make it feel a bit frustrating, if you are not there first thing, you may struggle and that routine ,every morning is a bit much. Takes the edge of a bit , it’s a bit much. It wasn’t this bad on previous stays. Also, we asked for a late check out room the day before and was told hotel fully booked, fair enough , however, we were offered a 30 minute slot for a curtorsy room, we were happy with that but, we thought it was one room for us for that time and it wasn’t. It was the use of a shower room that was also being used by gym goers. So, rather than leaving feeling all refreshed, we felt very rushed. Had we known, we would of just taken our change of clothes and toiletries downstairs rather than a case with everything in because, my husband had to wait outside shower room while I was getting showered and dressed and then I did same whilst he went in the men’s because obviously, we didn’t want to leave our case unattended. Not a good end to a lovely relaxing stay.

Excellent hotel, faultless stay
Stayed a week half board and honestly one of the best 4 star hotels we have stayed in. Perfect location, excellent food quality and choice and fantastic, friendly staff. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable. The hotel and grounds were spotlessly clean. Can't wait to return!
Excellent food and hotel standard
Hotel is ideally located for town and beach both near by. Experience slightly spoilt by the daily morning sun lounger dashers... We were determined NOT to be part of that ritual. The hotel does not enforce its ' No sun lounger booking' rule.. Despite other reviews saying there are enough sun loungers...there are not! Neither are there enough umbrellas.
