This charming beach aparthotel is located Corralejo on the delightful island of Fuerteventura. The complex is situated just 1 km from the beach, and a beautiful fishing harbour is located just a few minutes' walking distance away. The complex is conveniently set just a few minutes away from the heart of Corralejo, where guests will find a selection of shopping opportunities, charming restaurants and lively bars. The spectacular Las Dunas National Park is just a 5 minutes' drive away, while the nearest public transport stops are just 50 metres from the complex. This modern complex offers a selection of delightful apartments, providing guests with a comfortable home away from home. The stylish apartments are tastefully decorated and come complete with modern amenities for guests' convenience.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Came here for 10 day with Jet2 from 27th July. The hotel facilities were clean and tidy, our room was only cleaned once during our stay, but I wouldn't say this was a big deal. The onsite supermarket and pool bar were reasonably priced, although, if you want to buy beer, i would suggest a little walk to the hyperdino up the road, nearly half the price.
We found a huge lack of sunbeds during our first week, and although on check in we were told " no reserva sunbeds!" Hmmm, you need to be up early and get them, otherwise, you will luck out! To be fair, on our second week the hotel seemed more chilled with a few less people, on getting up people were still hovering around the stacks of sunbeds, waiting for them to be unlocked, but you could still aquire a few later on.
Had issues with noise from the Bristol bar up till 3am on the Friday night/Saturday morning, rave music, singing, shouting. None of the hotel staff seemed to do anything about it, i can honestly say I was a bit annoyed, i would have been even more miffed if this had woke my daughter.
There is plenty to do if you fancy a walk, so you certainly not restricted to the hotel, thankfully.
Would I visit the hotel again?? Definitely not, but i would certainly go back to Correljo.
Just returned from a great week, after arriving with low expectations following reviews on here and Facebook.
Positives: Decent sized apartment that was clean on arrival Kettle, toaster and microwave provided, along with washing up liquid, sponge and cloth which was greatly appreciated as I’d forgotten it! Fair location; about a 10-15 min walk to music square Lots of sun loungers but people get up super early to claim beds so we missed out a few mornings The pool is decent, not heated but it’s ok and never got crazy busy Poolside bar was good and served nice food at not bad prices Staff were helpful and friendly
Negatives: Was surprised that the third bed (sofabed in living area) wasn’t made up for us on arrival at around midnight Apartment is basic, rooms would benefit from a refurb but the shower room was really nice and modern (possibly refurbished?) Noisy neighbours above us stomping about No air con or fans and the rooms are hot! Adding air con or providing fans FOC would be a huge advantage Hairdryer in the bathroom not great, it blew up whilst I was using it but maintenance fixed it pretty quick (if you have long/thick hair, definitely bring your own) The lighting in the apartment is pretty bad; no “big light” in the bedroom so it’s dark when getting ready Lack of cleaning (once a week!) and fresh towels/bedding isn’t great, especially when everything is covered in suntan lotion and sweat. You can get fresh towels from reception and even though I kept on top of the room, it needs cleaning. No parasols around the pool, there are some shaded areas down one side but the pool would definitely benefit from parasols.
We had a 1 bedroom ground floor apartment but think we’d have preferred a higher up room so we could have a balcony and sleep with the balcony doors open to help cool the room.
Some reviews say there’s not much for kids which is true but my son enjoyed it. I emailed before arrival about floats and was told they’re not allowed, so I didn’t pack any - upon arrival we realised this is not the case at all! Pool was full of them! And of course, they sell them in the on-site shop.
I’d stay here again but for us, we’d prefer somewhere closer into the town and sandy beaches, we didn’t mind the walk and on occasion, we got taxis back which cost 5€
Positives:
Apartment was comfortable and clean albeit basic.
Good hob and decent frying pan
Nice complex - well maintained
Lots of sunbeds allthough the usual early morning scrum to reserve.
Supermarket on site with fresh pastries / booze / fruit / essentials
Cafe bar on site that does a decent bit of food including full English (around 12 euro main meals).
Fair location - 15 minutes walk to centre
Pool table / Reading areas / Gym, air hockey, massage availability, sand volleyball pitch
Would recommend to hotel: A Ping Pong table as we brought our bats and balls. Decent tea / coffee mugs. Couple of wine glasses. Replenish toliet rolls when cleaning as you only get 3 for the week (there was 3 of us).
Things to note:
You can rent a fan as there is no Aircon in the rooms. We took out own travel fans (Warmco folding flat ones are great for suitcase)
You can rent a room safe for 2 euro per day
10 mins walk to the large Hyper Dino that is cheaper than the smaller Dino's on the strip
If you go to the water park you can come back again for 20 euro.
Big Wave Pizza near the square was amazing and only 12 euro for huge pizzas. I would also recommend Bronx burger.
Live Music and etertainment every night in music square surrounded by bars and restaurants but get seated by 8/8.30 pm as it does fill up quickly and very popular.
All in all this is a very reasonably priced hotel that maintains high standards we really enjoyed our week here and would return.
Positives: Rooms basic but functional Complex lovely Plenty sunbeds with space Shop on site Cafe bar on site Site music at a pleasant volume with choice to sit away from it Fair location - 15 minutes walk to centre We had 2 rooms together which made our holiday fun and often ate brunch on our balconies Large supermarkets within 10 minutes walking distance Facilities on site basic but has all you need. Pool table Reading areas Gym, air hockey, massage availability, volleyball
Negative : Room dated. Spirits behind the bar are lethal - don't advise purchasing them. Super King beds in bedroom making it difficult for teenagers Maintenance required in the room (under sink all rusty, curtains dirty ) Cleaning services once during a 10 day holiday (but wasn't a big issue for us... We just took our towels down and got fresh ones from staff) Asked for an extra couple of pillows on day 1 and never received anything. Charge of €2 per night for safe Sofa grubby
Overall we loved corralejo. Went as a family of 5. Had a great time. The hotel was a reasonable price to book and so it met realistic expectations. Would recommend the hotel.
We had very relaxing time in a very relaxed atmosphere, with friends and family , we found very friendly staff, very good facilities, pools and bars , the hotel is well run and administered, is very charming and of traditional Spanish Architecture . Altogether a nice experience in a Hotel that has become extremely popular The bars are very well priced and there is evening entertainment
