In the spectacular dunes in the north of Fuerteventura, Spain, stands the Hotel Riu Palace Tres Islas. The magnificent building enjoys a seafront location on Playa de Corralejo beach and boasts beautiful sea views. With its crystal clear waterand kilometres of sandy beaches it's not surprising that some of these dunes have been used by photographers and for advertisements on TV. Besides the excellent temperatures and atmosphere, the Palace offers you holidays where you can enjoy a well deserved rest during your stay. It includes two fresh water swimming pools, a solarium terrace, hot tub, sauna, gym and the “Renova Spa” health and beauty centre with a range of different treatments and massages. Totally great holiday. Been coming to this hotel for many, many years. The beach is fantastic and the hotel is perfectly located for it. All the staff are very helpful & welcoming and many are long-serving staff. The cleanliness in excellent and our room was lovely with a great view out over the spectacular beach.
Short distance into the town of Corralejo which has loads of restaurants and eating options as well as shops and supermarkets.
Read about the renovations taking place later this year so will definitely be back in 2027 for a visit as they sound amazing.

Tres Islas peace and quiet at last!
Great hotel for us oldies, zero annoying music inside and out, zero annoying kids running wild, zero noise from road, zero barking dogs, evening entertainment done at 22:00hrs, perfect! Food is Riu palace high standard, as is the service and cleanliness. Location is superb, a very unique coastline with lava flows, beautiful soft sandy beaches with sand dunes for miles. Only gripe is the inability to control the air conditioning in the room, which is NOT comfortable at night, brrr! I hope that will be addressed with the upcoming refurb. Overall a very relaxing and peaceful week, we plan to return.

Hotel stay.

Renovations long overdue
Currently on our 4th visit. location wise its faultess and the beaches are far better than any we"ve seen in the Caribbean. Food was fine and we really enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. All the staff we met were great. Now the downsides. We are in junior suite 219 we have a huge terrace facing the sea as well as a balcony facing the dunes Housekeeping was great. The hotel is quite old, its closing for 4 months from end October and its long overdue. Loungers on terrace
are a joke,to get them to recline you have to life the whole backrest out and put it in different slots. No armrests either. Loungers on floor below are much better. One of the sun umbrellas has a large hole in it and the patio doors the balcony need 2 people to open/close. Effectively its unusable. AirCion in sitting area wasnt working on arrival but was fixed following day. 1 of the 4 lifts are O/O/O.
Our view is management know its closing and really arent bothered..
The water isnt drinkable and the charge for bottled water a total rip off..The evening shows would
have been dated in the 80s...
On this occasion we're giving a 3*. We had a good holiday hopefully the renovations succeed
One thing. All the sunbeds are taken by 8am...unbelievable..

10 night stay
Hotel is a little dated but could not fault the staff very friendly & helpful specially Juan Carreno behind reception who looked after us & went out of is way to accommodate us regarding a room change,Sylvia the poolside waitress was also friendly & always smiling such a lovely lady. Food was good we stayed on a AI basis as there is nothing outside of the resort apart from a supermarket near the bus stop about a 10min walk away,the beaches either side of the hotel & are lovely. One big fault with this hotel is they seem to allow smoking & vaping in most areas & you cannot seem to get away from it.
