Set in the prime spot next to the white sands and turquoise waters, the Hotel Fuerteventura Princess is a charming hotel superbly situated on Esquinzo beach. Soak up the sun in one of the hotel's many freshwater outdoor swimming pools, with three adult pools and one children's pool you are spoilt for choice. Live music and entertainment can be found in the evenings for those who want to unwind with a delicious cocktail; and if you have little ones with you, relax, the entertainment team are on hand to look after the children.
Dining highlights include The Principal restaurant where breakfast and dinner is served with an open kitchen, it also has themed dinners, Spanish cuisine and international specialties. For the late risers there is the Restaurante La Choza where you can dine whilst enjoying the view from the terrace. Also available is a Pizzeria, which is adjacent to the main pool for those looking for a hamburger or pizza at mid-day.
This hotel offers an array of excellent amenities including, free sauna and Turkish bath, evening entertainment, live music and a variety of sporting activities from a fully equipped gym to tennis courts and volleyball.

The rooms at the Hotel Fuerteventura Princess have a warm and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break. They also have their own private balcony or terrace, perfect for soaking up the evening atmosphere. All rooms are air-conditioned and have an en suite bathroom with a bath. They are also equipped with a range of amenities including cable TV, fridge, telephone, hairdryer and safe (at a fee).
The glorious beach is not the only thing that Esquinzo has to offer, just a short walk away from the hotel you will find a selection of restaurants and shops. But if you fancy a wider choice then why not explore the popular town of Jandia, this southern peninsula accommodates a wide variety of restaurants and bars for even the most adventurous of appetites.

Honest review in detail
Location was lovely, the best part is the beach. Easy access and the most beautiful water I’ve seen and swam in.
Atmosphere was lovely; there was entertainment for everyone.
Room was nice, toilet did make a leaking noise after a flush and ac not as powerful but does the job. Thin walls so can hear people and kids.
Value was decent, you pretty much get what you pay for. Food could be better for sure. Lacking options and that Spanish culture feel.
Definitely clean and serviced on the regular.
Lots of hills and stairs so be prepared for your calves to grow 😜
Once you arrive there is always a queue to check in so be ready to wait 30min approximately. Lovely workers just not enough of them maybe.
All inclusive but if you want ice cream throughout the day you have to pay. If you want fresh orange juice then you have to pay. The drink selection was bad. Unless you drink then there is a beer and wine tab. But soft drinks machine makes weak/flat drinks.
Overall, lovely experience, I just wouldn’t book or come here again :)

Lovely holiday at Princess Hotel
We have just come home from a week long holiday at the Princess Hotel. We had an amazing time. The hotel/resort was one of the nicest hotels we have visited. The hotel is well decorated throughout and it feels like they have gone the extra mile to give it a beautiful aesthetic vibe.
The food was very good quality for all inclusive and there was an options of snack bars for lunch as well.
Overall we had a lovely time and felt it was a beautiful hotel with everything you needed. The only comment we would make is sometimes at the restaurants some of the staff seemed a little bit rude. We would say thank you and they would often look away and ignore us. This made it a bit awkward although I feel this might have been to do with a language barrier. The reception and bar staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Another brilliant stay at the Fuerteventura Princess
This was our fourth time staying at the Fuerteventura Princess, and once again we had a lovely time.
To be honest, we’ve never had a problem here. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Any requests we’ve made during our stays have always been sorted without any fuss, which makes such a difference.
The food has always been good, the drinks are good, and everywhere is kept clean. The hotel grounds are also really well looked after. There’s always a good atmosphere around the hotel too, which makes it a really enjoyable place to stay.
The location is another big plus for us. There’s a supermarket just up the road, which is really handy, and the transfer from the airport isn’t too long either, so you’re not spending ages travelling once you arrive.
We also really appreciate the little touches, like the toiletries and other amenities they provide in the rooms. It’s those small things that make you feel that a bit of thought has gone into making your stay comfortable.
Personally, I honestly can’t fault the place. We obviously wouldn’t keep coming back if we didn’t enjoy it, and the fact that this was our fourth visit probably says it all!
We’ll definitely be coming back again. Thanks to all the staff for another great stay!

Not what it once was, strongly recommend booking somewhere else
This was my 4th visit to this hotel, having previously loved it for what it was - affordable, comfortable, a fantastic beach and a great sports bar.
However, it's clear that they have cut costs to an incredible level, and the hotel is massively worse for it. I would not recommend staying here at all.
I spent 10 days in block 6, and I'll highlight the issues:

Every morning, without fail, the cold water would run out. Around 8am, it was impossible to shower as it was boiling hot, and on at least 3 occasions the water stopped completely so couldn't flush the toilet or use the sink.

The restaurant is so poor. They have the tiniest glasses available, to fill up with shocking drink choices. The food is average at best, and lacks variety.

The siroco outdoor restaurant used to be a bit of a highlight. You could have breakfast there, sitting outside overlooking the beach, it was great. Now, I assume to cut costs, they've changed it to only being open 11.30 - 5pm. The food they serve is atrocious. They have built glass walls to block the outside options, so you now sit in a large sauna overheating from the lack of air conditioning, able to see the ocean without any of the joy of sitting outside.

The drinks are so bad. The pre made, machine distributed cocktails are sickly sweet processed nonsense. The upgrade to AI premium still doesn't get you all the drinks, so after booking All Inclusive, and then paying €12 a day extra to upgrade to AI premium, you still can't get all the drinks you'd expect. I've never seen such a system before, they need to rename all inclusive to 'semi inclusive' to be accurate.

They have less staff, the queues at the bars are madness in the evenings.

The lack or air conditioning in the main restaurant is awful. They claim it's due to the heat outside, but it's 100% cost cutting again not to run it fully or upgrade the system.
Overall, this hotel is a 4* due to location and pools. In reality, it's a 2* at best. I cannot recommend enough that you book a different hotel in Jandia, so you can enjoy the beach without having to be in the Princess mediocrity.

Would not return
We arrived at 1.30 am and our room patio door wouldn't close and air con didn't work, not ideal arriving at that time with a 6 year old. No one available to look at it so ended up having a very warm night. However the hotel pools and location next to the beach was lovely. The activities especially for children was very disappointing and the evening entertainment was absolutely awful. No shower facilities for people departing later in the day (we were told to shower in the pool showers) and no opportunity to pay to keep a room for late checkout even though it is advertised ( we asked several times) However the worse part of the stay was how miserable the staff are. They smile and chat between themselves but it is not the case for customers even with the children they are none responsive and grumpy . Very disappointing
