Currently still in this hotel..
Unsure what the guests stating it is clean are used to. Not by my standards.
I really don’t know where to start. Came as a family of 5. Disappointed from the start on arrival. No happy welcome, no this is what we have to offer, no this is where your room is… just a miserable women passing your key, clearly just wanted to go home as we were delayed by traffic.
Following day Queing for sunbeds, grown men and women running for the same beds. Absolutely ridiculous. Then came the cock roaches in both eating areas. Outside yes but inside, I guess you can expect this as we’re abroad but not as many as we saw and in the breakfast fruit bowl. The cleaners only clean the areas you see, as in table tops with the same cloth they use to clean the hand rails in reception with, chairs are covered in stains, we found a used plaster stuck to the side of one chair in the dining area, there’s food on the floor in dining area at breakfast time and it’s obviously been there from the night before as it’s mainly chips, our grandson spilt his milk shake, staff saw this and the next nite the stains were still there no intention to clean up. If this was back in England it would get shut down
Reached out to the rep, no point.
Morning after we saw Roland the RAT in the restaurant. Grown men jumping to get away. The rat screaming when stuck to a sticky pad they placed to capture it. After 10 mins they caught it. Walked with it through the restaurant in a bin bag telling other people it was a bird but as the pics prove it wasn’t, no sign of cleaning the area or tables underneath. No apologies to the holiday makers watching. Absolutely disgusting. The rep said “ how cute you saw a rat” what the heck!!!!
Then we have the infestation of flies… absolutely disgusting. You can’t eat a meal without constantly swiping to get them off your plate.
All backed up by photographic evidence. TUI not interested, the hotel management are a disgrace!! All covered up and can’t be bothered to deal with the shambolic hotel they are running, or not as the case may be..
We are frequent travellers on day 12 of our 14 day holiday and can’t wait to go home.( first time ever) The hotel its self is lovely and the grounds are very well kept and the staff everywhere work very hard and are polite and friendly. Three times during our first week the children’s pool was closed . Lifeguard starting shouting poo poo ( didn’t use that word but won’t allow me to type what he said) in the pool and to get out, area was tapped off until being cleaned and reopened the following morning. There must have been a phantom pooper on holidays who has now gone home because it’s not happened our second week. Then there was a rat in the restaurant early one morning. It was running around the edge of a ceiling alcove where the lights are. It was quickly caught and disposed of . I was surprised that none of the tables below where the rat was running were cleaned and also should have had the napkins and cutlery replaced. God knows what had fallen down onto them. More flies in the restaurant than on a safari in Africa! Everywhere you look there’s flies on all the food, tables, plates, floors! It’s infested! Apparently they are blaming a heatwave but hygiene isn’t the greatest. There’s been blue sweets stuck to the floor by the same table for the last 8 days and they are still there now at lunch time. Cherry on the top was at lunch time today a child came over to our table and started spitting at the flies that were on a chair by the side of my partner. Not once did she do it but three times and kept on until we told her no! Her parents kept saying flies flies and obviously didn’t mind what she was doing! Air con is nonexistent. We’ve complained three times about our room aircon and also asked for fans for our room and we are still waiting . No aircon in the dinning room, reception, bar area, entertainment area either only aircon we’ve had has been in a car that we hired. Entertainment isn’t really our thing but the times we have tried to get into watch something there’s no seats and it’s very hot with it being inside. If there wasn’t so many people here then it would be a much better hotel. Three apartment complexes and one hotel all using the same amenities is far too much.
We paid when we got there, but the hotel said we didn’t even tho we had gotten confirmation. They tried to charge us multiple times (which is illegal) one day after they said the payment was ok
The main reception had no air conditioning which in the current temperatures was unbearable.
Found all communal areas quite dirty with lots of empty recyclables all over , even in corridors to main rooms.
Sunbeds thrown around on the grassed areas near beach, again lots of empty recyclables scattered around , especially first thing in morning.
Reception team were generally quite helpful but couldn’t keep our room later on our late check out , which made awkward for our anxious 13 year old daughter .
Quite nice access to beach , but is too rocky to get into sea easily.
Entertainment was good if you could get a seat.
Bedroom corridors most depressing and bedrooms average, albeit quite clean. They definitely need a re-vamp very soon.
I’d say I would class it as a 2 star only. Particularly on the last day when there was a cockroach in our room.
No nice touches really as all out dated and untidy areas.
Food was ok with a good selection , but untidy areas around and flies buzzing around.
Worth the money I don’t think so and would I go back , no way.
This was a fabulous hotel, plenty of pools to choose from, like the fact that you cant take your food out to your sunbed so its always "fly" free, the staff are amazing and so helpful and even though the hotel was fully booked, you could always find a quiet area as it was so vast, the grounds are kept spotless, its just lovely and we will be coming back at some point.
