The hotel is lovely, the entertainment team is the best!
I went with my partner and our 2 children for 10 days and we had the best time! The room was cleaned regularly, the food wasn’t terrible, different food almost every day, the cocktails were nice lived the snack bar and the entertainment team were amazing! Laura, Kendra and angel were so good to us, funny, inclusive and so funny and kind, we’d go back just for them tbh :) for our first family holiday it was perfect for us. A let down
There were some positives but also some major letdowns that really impacted our holiday.
I’ll start with the positives. The staff at this hotel are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely do their best to make you feel at home. The woman serving at the snack bar was an absolute star and provided brilliant service. Furthermore, once we were settled, I couldn’t fault the room. The cleanliness and quality of the accommodation areas were excellent, and housekeeping did a great job.
Unfortunately, the negatives were quite significant. Our stay got off to a bumpy start because our first room was completely unsuitable. The terrace was broken and uneven, making it a serious trip hazard.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the food. The quality in the main restaurant was frankly dire. It was so unappetising that we were completely unable to eat there, and we ended up spending extra money to go out for dinner every single evening.
The main pool and pool bar area were another major issue. We were completely put off from using the main pool because there was a distinct, overpowering smell of cat urine in the surrounding area. To make matters worse on the hygiene front, there was an incident with a child. Despite clearly being toilet trained, she thought it was hilarious to just wee all over the floor, even though she was no more than ten paces away from the actual WCs. It was bizarre, unhygienic, and really put a dampener on the communal areas.
Overall, while the staff are wonderful and the rooms are kept spotlessly clean, the terrible food, hazardous first room, and gross hygiene issues around the pool mean we sadly won't be returning.

Hotel livvo Koala garden
Great place too stay went with the wife and kids 11/17y pool was a bit deep and you can only use floaty rubber rings but the food was great big selection and all nice looking ( get a taxi into playa de ingles for the nights or stay at hotel but €7/8 go there for the beach too 🙌🏼 overall no complaints at all from us 🙌🏼

Nice hotel for a cheap break
We recently got back from a weeks holiday staying at livvo koala with 2 young kids. Overall I wouldn’t rate this hotel a 4 star more like a 3. On check in we arrived at 20:30 and was told there was no food as the restaurant shut at 21:00 and were instead left with sandwiches and fruit on the check in desk to help ourselves too. Rooms were big and spacious, but the sofa bed I felt wasnt the usually sofa bed you’d expect and so my oldest ended up sleeping in the bed with us as I thought it was too uncomfortable and not big enough. The room wasn’t cleaned to a high standard and there was used plastic cups and balls left under the sofa. There was 4 swimming pools but none of them shallow enough for oldest to stand up. The minimum depth I seen was 1.5m. There was 2 baby pools and a splash pad but this was only small and got busy. On our last day they taped the splash pad off im assuming to fix the floor as this was raised and broken. Food - main buffet restaurant was ok, wouldn’t go hungry and didn’t make any of us bard. Not much option for the evening meals and it was repetitive but again this is a personal preference. Not much option for children, only once we managed to get chicken nuggets. Did notice a few dead cockroaches on the floor around the outdoor sitting area. Snack bar open 12-5 serving burgers, hot dogs and pizza. Pool bar didn’t open until 11 so if you wanted a drink around the pool before then you would have to go to the restaurant to get it. Self service drinks was also not possible until they opened the machines. Sometimes this would be flat drinks. There was a shop about a 5 minute walk away which we went to most days to get bottled water and crisps as there was no on site shop. Taxi to Puerto ricco cost about €36 and taxi to Maspalomas light house was about €8 Prior to checkout we enquired about a late check out this was €50 to have the room until 6pm we decided not to use this and was told there was a shower room and luggage room we could use. But on checkout when we asked to use to the shower room we was told this needed to be pre-booked and there was no availability for us so instead we had to just get changed in the bathroom. So be careful and make sure you book that the day before check out.

3 star at best
3 star at best, if you expect 4 star as advertised you’ll be disappointed. Food was very repetitive so got boring very quickly. Not much of a choice for children. Entertainment team worked hard but very much focused towards younger children. We were there for a week and saw the same show twice so they could do with mixing it up a bit. Only one bar for drinks which is by the pool so you’re traipsing through puddles if you go at night. Sunbeds gone early doors so prepare to get up early. A trip to the beach was good for a change of scenery and the Holiday World complex up the road is good for a visit too. Overall not terrible but won’t be returning.
