Maspalomas Princess

It felt like a downward shift in the clientele visiting the hotel, felt a bit less upmarket! Hotel is lovely check in receptionist was warm welcoming and friendly, nice to be acknowledged as a returning guest! However when it came to leave the ability for a late check out was disappointing we tried to book at various points during the holiday and was finally told to wait until the night before we left, we were kept waiting at the desk while the girl kept scrolling and tutting g and head shaking went on, only to be told to check again first thing on our last day, only to be told it wasn’t possible - despite the €75 charge!! The use of s shower room was our only option, an experience I hope never to repeat!!! We also noticed certain areas looking tired and neglected - my biggest concern was the carpet bar holding the carpet tiles down to the marble floor, was ‘curling’ at both ends which will have stopped the fire doors from closing, further several of the carpet tiles, were lifting and could pose a serious tripping hazard hazard! The dining room staff worked so hard but were clearly under staffed, as tables were left uncleared, never happened before, breakfast on at least 3 occasions was not the best, very greasy offerings long queues for eggs and some of the pre cooked items were a little well done! Again not as we have previously had. Overall I am not sure this is still a 4 star hotel.

Lovely clean hotel with good food but not geared up for higher temps the reseraunts, bars and rooms totally inadequate air con everywhere was hot which was uncomfortable and ruined our holiday

Lovely Hotel, staff were absolutely great, stayed in an amazing room overlooking the pools, we loved our stay Food was top quality, only minor point on drinks wish they had only one type of all inclusive !
