Wonderful hotel - one of the nicest I have stayed in. From the check-in staff to the waiters and cleaners, all were so welcoming. There was an abundant choice of quality food for breakfast and dinner and it was nice to have the chefs on hand constantly cooking and replacing the food. The pool area was lovely with plenty of beds and no real need to reserve but obviously people still do. Towels provided by the pool . The speciality Spanish dinner in Ocean View restaurant was sublime. Nothing was too much trouble. Great stay.
This hotel won’t let you down no more to say 10 out of 10 thank for another brilliant holiday
We have stayed at many Riu Palace Hotels. Unfortunately we feel this particular one is somewhat lacking compared to the rest. The view from our room (Lateral/side sea view) was predominantly ruined by a vast expanse of roofs which completely dominate the whole scene. Obviously this can not be changed as below them are the main restaurant. We felt also that the room cleaning could have been slightly better. The staff were fine, and the food was fine Not the best we have experienced, but acceptable. We felt the entertainment was good. This review is not intended to be vindictive, but simply to provide our honest views on our experience. Therefore compared to our other experiences, we do not feel this hotel matches up to it's 5 star rating
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Meloneras. The breakfast and dinner buffets were extensive, with a great variety of food to choose from every day. The swimming pools were beautiful and offered plenty of space to relax.
Our room was spacious, clean. The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday
Spent 2 weeks in this fabulous hotel, everything is so well thought out from the hotel interior to the grounds and pool area that feel so spacious and clean. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Fantastic choice of high quality food considering the main restaurant is buffet style with so much being cooked fresh at multiple stations. Good labelling to help with gluten free options too. The hotel vibe is chilled, lovely atmosphere in the bars from early evening with a pianist and then artists in the main stage with indoor and outdoor seating. If you like a more lively night the Riu Party night is a must, you can book at reception snd is held in the Riu Gran Canaria next door on a Friday night. 3+ hours of music and dancing, make sure you wear comfy shoes to dance the night away. The free bar is also included. They alternate between Neon or White theme but it isn't compulsory although most people had organised their outfits in advance. We did both nights and absolutely loved them. The resort is brilliant with a mix of beach bats and more up market bars with entertainment. Wonderful sunsets every night as you stroll along the promenade. We will absolutely boom this hotel again it was one if my favourite holidays.
