This amazingly hotel is situated on a central location on the famous Playa del Inglés, in the southern part of Gran Canaria. The airport is conveniently just about 2 km car ride away from the complex. The hotel offers rooms that come equipped with cosy beds and all the necessary amenities they need to have the best experience. For travellers comfort, the rooms are decorated to make them feel welcomed and comfortable. Diving into the pool, sunbathing, relaxing under the shadow of an umbrella or going to the beach are just a few things guests will have the pleasure to experience. Visitors can have a delicious meal or spend a lovely evening in the bar. If visitors prefer to explore the surroundings, there are restaurants where to go to taste different flavours or have a nice meal.

Great stay
Me and my Fiance have now been here a week with just a few days left of our stay and we have really enjoyed the hotel.
The rooms are nice size with good A/C which is definitely needed when 30c+. The animation team are great, we personally do not get involved with any of the activities but can see how hard they work and how enthusiastic they all are. The evening entertainment too is great with something different each night.
I have read multiple reviews saying the food is quite repetitive and yes I agree but most nights something new, tonight we had Asian night which we really enjoyed. For the deal we got for all inclusive, I am happy enough with the food. For those who like to eat out maybe one or two nights, there are plenty of restaurants close by, we went out for a curry last night which was 10 minute walk from hotel and really nice.
The location is good too, 15 minute walk to either Anexo 2 or Yumbo Centre which both have plenty of bars, shops & restaurants.
We had no problem getting a sun bed each day, if you try to put your towels down before 9am and leave them they will be taken away. The pool can get crowded at times with the actives the animation team do multiple times each day but again you work around it and plenty of room to cool off at all times.
There is a separate kids pool area for those with children at the end of the hotel with slides etc and a mini gym with a few weights and running machines.
Overall we have had a great stay and would return.

Quite ok
The hotel is large and quite spread out, so if you get a room in one of the more distant areas, you have to walk quite a bit to get around. During our stay, the hotel wasn’t very crowded, so it was still possible to find a sun lounger. However, with a higher occupancy, I imagine it would be very difficult, as the pools are quite small compared to the size of the hotel.
The hotel clearly looks quite old. It is supposedly renovated, but I honestly couldn’t tell where exactly the renovation had taken place. The room itself, however, was large, clean and well maintained, and generally looked just like in the photos. The worst part was definitely the doors – both the entrance door and the bathroom door were scratched, worn and covered with stickers/tape, which really didn’t look good.
The biggest disappointment was the all-inclusive food. It was simply poor, and the amount of repetition was huge. After a few days, it became really difficult to find something you actually wanted to eat. Looking back, I would much rather have skipped the all-inclusive option altogether and eaten at restaurants in town.
The location is definitely a plus. The hotel is very close to the famous Maspalomas dunes, which is a great advantage. However, getting to the actual beach is quite a trek and takes a fair amount of time.
Overall, the hotel has some clear advantages, especially its location and the large, well-maintained rooms. However, the small pools, the visible age and wear of the property, and especially the poor and repetitive food mean that my final rating is 2.5/5.
Mixed feelings, but not recommending
The hotel was generally clean, which was definitely a plus. The food was tasty, but unfortunately the choice was quite limited. For someone who doesn’t eat pork or beef, there were times when it was difficult to find something suitable, especially as chicken was not always available. There also didn’t seem to be enough food stations for the number of guests, which made getting food quite chaotic at busy times. As a result, some dishes were occasionally empty and had to be replenished.
The advertised 24-hour all-inclusive bar is also quite misleading. Outside of the normal meal and bar service, the 24-hour food offering was essentially two types of croissants and one type of sandwich, when available. It is difficult to consider this a meaningful 24-hour all-inclusive food service, especially when the offering can be as limited as shown in the hotel’s own photos.
During our stay, two of the friends travelling with us became ill with stomachache, vomiting and diarrhoea. We also spoke to some other guests, and at least one of them reported being ill as well. We obviously cannot say what caused this, but it was concerning and affected our experience.
Another issue was the ironing service. There are no irons in the rooms, so we asked reception how the ironing service worked. Unfortunately, the reception staff did not seem to be well informed, and it took quite a while to get a clear answer. We were eventually told that the clothes would be collected from our room, but they were not, so we had to take them to reception ourselves. It then took two days to get them back. One of our shirts was returned with permanent-marker-like stains on it and was effectively ruined. We were not offered any compensation or even a gesture of goodwill, although we were told that we would not be charged for the ironing service.
The swimming pools were also much smaller than they appear in the hotel photos. On the positive side, the pools being open until late was a nice feature.
Overall, while the hotel was clean and the food was generally tasty, there were too many issues during our stay for us to consider returning. Based on our experience, it is not a hotel we would choose again or recommend to friends or family.
Fab hotel, good food, great location, clean and friendly
Me and my partner have just come back from a week at this hotel. We would definitely return again. We were a bit dubious after reading previous reviews, but honestly we had nothing to worry about. The staff were very helpful during our stay - I have a gluten intolerance, and they were very helpful in helping me with what I could and couldn’t eat. We always found something to eat, and having the 24/7 snacks and alcohol/soft drinks was a massive bonus. The room was clean, and well maintained and up to date (the only thing I could say, is the two singles pushed together to make a ‘double’. The location of the hotel was really good. There was lots of things around the hotel for us to do - we ventured out to the beach, local shops, and also found a mini golf down by road. We didn’t watch much entertainment - but the entertainment we did watch, was quite good. For what we paid for the hotel all inclusive, we were very impressed with everything.

Best animation team !
Animation team. Fabulous! The energy, talent and friendliness that these people have is incredible. To be so upbeat every day (and you really notice it on their days off when they’re not around, the external evening entertainment brought in was not our thing). We saw the ‘Wednesday Adams ‘ production on our last night and quite honestly every one of them on stage could walk into a London West end show! Special shout out to Alejandro, Javi and Anya (sorry I didn’t know the others names) but guy with blond hair we loved watching your children’s disco ! So entertaining and we didn’t have kids with us! Oh and Oscar who just started on the team but we know he’ll be a great addition ! Super friendly.
If you can, upgrade to a private pool room. The main pool area is very busy and quite squashed in, not enough sunbeds (September) but the sunbeds in these rooms have comfortable mattresses on and it’s nice and peaceful to escape the busy main pool.
Food, was ok. However, I’ve read other reviews about not labelling food. I struggled with this as i have a fish allergy and nearly mistakenly ate tuna believing it to be chicken. A lot of the rice dishes had prawns. Also the burgers at the snack bar, delicious but ran out quickly and not replaced very often.
We had a deluxe room but air con was not very cold. Temperatures were 38 degrees during our stay so when we put the air con on maximum there was an awful rattle sounding like a bag of spanner’s all night so had to turn it off. We reported this via the online app on the Sunday morning which was marked as resolved on the Monday and instructions to say an engineer would come round but when we left on the Thursday it had still not been looked at.
Room was clean but well used. Cleaners were polite and friendly. Beds are like single camp beds on a metal base pushed together. Mini bar in room was a nice touch, replaced daily with cans and water. Pool towels were also nice touch with this room and could get them replaced for clean dry ones whenever needed
