Pool

Arrived late check in was swift, given a stale sandwich an apple a small water. Been travelling for 9 hours! Room was basic but clean bed uncomfortable air conditioning broken (smashed). Pool clean and nice size, ladders were dangerously loose. Pool bar was great depending on who was working! I was served a raw burger so check these out before you eat! Staff on pool bar mostly nice depending who was working. Ok now for the all inclusive food review. Absolutely shocking!! All food bought in at grade c poor quality, whatever is left the night before served the next day. Mushy veg, garlic overload with not many other herbs or spices if you’re served fish it’s the cheapest of the cheap and full of bones!! Limited choice everyday most desserts the same everyday. Fruit is bruised broken or mushy (old) some of the food is even unidentifiable compared to what is on the signage. All fruit juices are so sweet they are undrinkable. Paella was served one evening only sea food in it were prawn heads again inedible. Breakfasts was your standard spam bacon raw top eggs. Flavourless and a waste of money. Free WiFi try no WiFi won’t connect. Where is the hotel entertainment they have a stage a disco ball but nothing happens🤷‍♀️ pool table for the kids that’s it. No quiz no singers nothing. You can take your children to the complex for entertainment and shops but when that’s finished at 9 you need to pay to keep them occupied which would prove expensive. Come on LIVVO Costa taurito up your game your staff work hard give them the tools to make this better. This hotel only just touches 2 stars for me if that. I won’t be back for sure!

Just yuk!!!

Family of 4 including a 19 year old and 15 year old boy. We have been to Gran Canaria multiple times over the years, AI & non-AI, but never been here. 
This hotel is part of a chain of 3 in the vicinity. They are nestled into the beautiful canyon-type area of Taurito village. There is everything you need in the village - plenty of shops, a bar and the dark sandy beach. We stayed at this hotel which is smaller I believe than the others. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the rooms are basic but clean. There is one main restaurant in the hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you’re a fussy eater like 2 of our party, you may struggle to enjoy some of the food. We found that having a hotdog or burger and chips at the pool bar during the day worked better for us. Usual cheaper alcohol you expect from all inclusive is available all day as well as soft drinks. The pool is quite small, but this helps it stay a little warmer!  You’re not allowed inflatables, balls, diving/jumping etc, so maybe a little on the boring side for little ones. If you get the female lifeguard, she’s a little less strict than the male. The entertainment, mini golf and water park are a short walk or lift down into the centre. Entertainment is pretty decent; kids entertainment between 8-9pm then more adult focussed 9-10pm. Variety of acts including traditional Spanish dancers, magician, singers, quiz - something different most nights. We noticed that you needed to get down there early-ish if you wanted a bench for the entertainment otherwise, you’re waiting standing up next to bar tables. We thought some bar stools would be good to alleviate this. All inclusive drinks also included for the entertainment area, although we didn’t figure this out immediately. We made the mistake of wandering into Hotel Livvo accidentally and our wrist bands were red instead of blue which staff immediately noticed and told us we couldn’t eat there (not that we were trying to!) 
One thing we found an little annoying is that our all inclusive did not allow us food or drink in the water park, so you need to either bring your own or buy whole there. There’s a deal on for something like 13€ a day for 3 drinks and some food through the hotel, but we didn’t opt for this. A small bottle of Sprite costs 3€. 
There’s a lovely bar next to the entertainment which sells candy floss and popcorn etc, but also proper beer and spirits. They have a virtual dart board so we spent an hour or 2 each night in there after the entertainment had finished. We had a hire car through Autoreisen (no deposit, excellent value £120 for the week)  which meant we could travel out to Peurto Rico a couple of times. We did this for old times’ sake and tattoos rather than anything else. You don’t really need to leave the resort. There are pharmacies, although for actual medication, you will have to go to Peurto Rico because they only seem to sell herbal remedies. 
All in all, a lovely holiday with everything you need within walking distance. We would come back, but maybe stay in one of the larger hotels next to the water park and entertainment.

Hotel LIVVO Costa taurito do not go!
The food is poor and repetitive. 
It promises an omelette station it doesn’t have one. 
You only get WiFi in the lobby not the rooms which isn’t ideal by any standards. 
The waterpark is good but you still have to pay for parasols which are 4 euros per day each. 
All in all we had to eat out for 5 nights out of 7 adding an additional 700 euros to the weeks costs. 
Also the room keys consistently don’t work so had to continually get new ones which is a pain when you just want to get I. Your room. 
The weather was fantastic which was the highlight the hotel certainly wasn’t.

I would never come back to this hotel again. All the hotels in the same result are very simular too.

No day entertainment,  unless you go to another hotel , if you all inclusive you still have to pay for the food and drink.  Night time entertainment is non existent.

Arcades goods, shops, but if your on a low budget, and paid all inclusive,  to gey any joy ment in the evening expect to pay money. 

Small pool, kids are not allowed floats, balls , basically can not do what kids love to do while in a swimming pool.  The pool police are constantly out. No slashing , no jumping, no rings, no balls. 

Water park close by, looks great, but, again if your all inclusive you have may have free entry but food and drink are not included. Salt water , kids hated it!!.

Food is repetitive,  flies , cockroaches in bedrooms.

NEVER AGAIN

It is not a 4 star hotel, I would say it’s a 2 star. 
Plus points: 
- it’s small and quiet
- cleaners did a great job 
- waterpark is included 
- reception staff polite and helpful 

Negative points:
- the pool is tiny, for kids it is no fun
- it’s only access to the waterpark that’s included. You have to pay for food and drinks. Umbrellas are 4 euros per day. 
- some of the bar staff are rude.  We were refused ice in the kids drinks but not in adults?!?
- entertainment is in the plaza, shared with 2 other hotels, it’s cringeworthy 
- food is limited, repeated and at times not nice
- beach is tiny
- you cannot go anywhere outside of the plaza unless you hire a car or get a taxi 
- we’ve done all inclusive a lot, and this is the most limited and worse one we’ve been too

It wasn’t awful but not the best, I wouldn’t recommend
